Launceston BeerFest NYE

Northern Tasmania’s signature event for New Year’s Eve, BeerFest is the ultimate waterfront festival, where food and drink vendors, live entertainment and fireworks take over the Launceston waterfront at Royal Park, moments from the CBD.

This year, iconic Aussie band The Presets will headline the evening, and a marketplace of Tassie’s best hospitality venues will provide cocktails, distilled spirits, beer, wine, cider and local street food.

Families can enjoy puppet shows, Taiko drummers, face painting and the first fireworks display of the evening at 9.30 pm before taking the little ones to bed. Grown-ups can stay up past their bedtime to dance the night away and watch the second round of fireworks as the clock strikes midnight.

The theme for Country Club’s NYE celebration is Wild West — so find your best Western get-up and get ready for a dazzling evening of live music, drinks specials, photobooths and fireworks.
