These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Sitchu website located at www.sitchu.com
and associated digital platforms (Site).

The Site is owned and operated by Sitchu Pty Ltd (ABN 77 606 865 525) (referred to as Sitchu, we, us or our).

By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must cease using the Site immediately.

1. About Sitchu

Sitchu is a digital lifestyle media platform providing editorial content, curated guides, brand collaborations, advertising, business features and promotional campaigns, including competitions.

All content is provided for general information and entertainment purposes unless expressly stated otherwise.

  • Loss of profits, data, goodwill or business opportunity;

  • Third-party conduct or third-party websites.

Your use of the Site is at your own risk.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site (including text, graphics, images, branding, layout, editorial material and software) is owned by or licensed to Sitchu and protected by intellectual property laws.

You may access and view content for personal, non-commercial use only.

You must not reproduce, distribute, publish or commercially exploit any content without prior written consent.

7. Trade Marks

“Sitchu” and associated branding are trade marks of Sitchu Pty Ltd.
You must not use our trade marks without written consent.

8. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Site unlawfully;
  • Interfere with Site functionality;
  • Attempt unauthorised access;
  • Use scraping tools, bots or automated systems;
  • Upload malicious code.

We may suspend access for misuse.

9. Third-Party Content & Sponsored Content

The Site may contain:

  • Sponsored articles
  • Brand partnerships
  • Advertisements
  • Affiliate links
  • Links to third-party websites

We may receive compensation for sponsored or affiliate content. Unless expressly stated, this does not constitute endorsement.

We are not responsible for third-party content or websites.

10. Competitions & Promotions

From time to time, Sitchu may conduct promotions, trade promotions or competitions (Promotions), often in partnership with third-party brands.

10.1 Promotion-Specific Terms

Each Promotion will be subject to:

  • These Terms; and
  • Separate promotion-specific terms and conditions (Promotion Terms).

If there is any inconsistency, the Promotion Terms prevail for that Promotion.

10.2 Eligibility

Promotions are generally open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over unless otherwise stated.

Employees of Sitchu, associated agencies and participating partners (and their immediate families) may be ineligible.

10.3 Permits & Compliance

Where required by law, Sitchu will obtain necessary trade promotion permits.

Promotions will be conducted in accordance with applicable State and Territory legislation, including relevant lottery and trade promotion laws.

10.4 Prize Conditions

Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash unless stated.

If a prize becomes unavailable, we may substitute it with a prize of equal or greater value.

Third-party prize providers are responsible for the supply and fulfilment of prizes.

Sitchu is not responsible for prize quality, availability or conditions imposed by prize partners.

10.5 Liability for Prizes

To the extent permitted by law, Sitchu is not liable for:

Loss or damage arising from participation in a Promotion;

Loss, theft or damage of prizes after dispatch;

Failure of third-party suppliers to honour prizes.

Nothing in this clause excludes non-excludable rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

10.6 Use of Personal Information

By entering a Promotion, entrants consent to:

Sitchu collecting and using personal information to administer the Promotion;

Disclosure to partners where necessary for prize fulfilment;

Being contacted regarding the Promotion.

10.7 Marketing Consent

Where entrants opt in, they may receive marketing communications from Sitchu and/or the Promotion partner. Consent may be withdrawn at any time.

11. User Submissions

If you submit content (including competition entries, images, comments or reviews), you grant Sitchu a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, publish and reproduce that content.

You warrant that your submission does not infringe third-party rights.

12. Privacy

Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy available on the Site.

13. Security

While reasonable security measures are implemented, internet transmissions cannot be guaranteed secure.

14. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to enhance user experience and analyse traffic.

15. Availability

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
