First look at KYLIE, Kylie Minogue’s upcoming Netflix documentary (Image Credit: Netflix)

Kylie Is Finally Opening The Glittering Archives

Netflix’s first look at KYLIE has landed, and it is shaping up as far more than a standard music documentary. Across three episodes, Kylie Minogue opens her personal archives for an intimate telling of a life that has soundtracked generations, with Michael Harte directing and appearances from Dannii Minogue, Jason Donovan, Nick Cave and Pete Waterman. Less career recap, more pop icon in her own words, it already feels like required viewing for anyone with a soft spot for sequins, reinvention and the woman behind five decades of brilliance.

Release date still to be confirmed

Practical Magic 2 Has Cast Its First Trailer Spell

The Owens Sisters are back, and cinema looks better already. The first teaser trailer for Practical Magic 2 has finally landed, reuniting Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman as Sally and Gillian Owens with all the witchy glamour, sisterly spark and cult-film pull you could want from a return this long-awaited. Better still, it is not just trading on memory: Joey King, Maisie Williams and Lee Pace bring a fresh jolt to the coven, giving the whole thing a next-generation charge that feels glossy, mischievous and genuinely worth getting excited about.

Release date: September 18th, 2026

The Beach Read Casting Just Sent Romance Readers Spinning

Phoebe Dynevor as January and Patrick Schwarzenegger as Gus is the exact casting news that sends the internet into a tizzy. With Emily Henry’s Beach Read heading from beloved summer read to screen adaptation, the conversation has already leapt from excitement to chemistry checks, fancast comparisons and whether these two can carry one of romance publishing’s most adored pairings. Either way, the discourse is on, and suddenly this adaptation feels very real.

Our personal opinion? We approve this combo.

Expected release: April 14th, 2027

The Rosebush Pruning Trailer Is Rich-People Rot At Its Chicest… And We Are Seated

The new trailer and first-look stills for Rosebush Pruning have arrived, and they are selling one very chic descent into family ruin. Directed by Karim Aïnouz, the film drops Callum Turner, Riley Keough, Elle Fanning, Jamie Bell, Tracy Letts and Pamela Anderson into a sun-struck Catalonian setting where a wealthy American family starts to curdle from within after an outsider arrives.

Dark satire, designer-clad dysfunction and a cast so wildly good it makes even the mayhem look immaculate: this has cult-watch energy written all over it. And then there is the cinematography, all heat, gloss and decadent colour, which only sharpens the madness. Consider us extremely intrigued.

Hannah Montana Turns 20 — And We’re Ready for the Nostalgia Overload

Cue the after-school ritual: Foxtel remote claimed, snacks ready before the Disney Channel ident finished. Now the series that lived in that daily timeslot is getting its reunion moment — Miley Cyrus returns for the 20-year anniversary special of Hannah Montana.

The nostalgia has already begun. In the lead-up, Cyrus has been sharing throwback photos from her Disney days — blonde fringe, sequinned fits and all — sending longtime fans straight back to bedroom sing-alongs and ringtone downloads.

Hosted by Alex Cooper and filmed before a live audience, the special will recreate iconic sets, unveil unseen footage and revisit the pop phenomenon that turned ordinary afternoons into event TV. Consider it your official excuse to log back in to your inner tween — headset mic optional.

The special will air on Disney+ on March 24th, 2026.

Amelia Dimoldenberg (Image Credit: @ameliadimz)

Amelia Dimoldenberg Is Making a Rom-Com (and Starring in It), and Honestly… This Feels Right

In news that feels tailor-made for anyone who adores awkward charm served deadpan, Amelia Dimoldenberg is stepping off the fried-chicken banquette and into the world of romantic comedy. The creator of Chicken Shop Date will star in — and produce — a new feature for Orion Pictures, playing a by-the-book journalist whose tidy life unravels when a standard celebrity interview turns unexpectedly swoony.

Backing the project is Gloria Sanchez Productions, the powerhouse outfit behind Booksmart and Will & Harper, with the script penned by Sarah Heyward — known for Girls, Netflix’s upcoming Sweet Valley High, and the adaptation of Emily Henry’s Book Lovers.

Dimoldenberg’s rise has been meteoric, from grilling A-listers at London chicken shops to serving as The Academy’s red carpet correspondent three years running. Her production company, Dimz, Inc., continues to expand with projects like Passenger Princess and the Dimz, Inc. Academy, supporting young creatives across media.

With this new rom-com — part satire, part love story, fully Amelia — we may be witnessing her most iconic pivot yet.

Consider it one of 2026’s brightest film announcements.

The Drama

Zendaya and Robert Pattinson Are Teaming Up in 2026’s Most Hyped Film

Directed by Kristoffer Borgli, the film follows a couple in the jittery days before their wedding, when unsettling truths threaten to upend everything. Expect tension, charm and serious on-screen chemistry, wrapped in A24’s signature indie gloss.

Early stills have sent fans into meltdown, and with Zendaya and Pattinson leading the charge, this is shaping up to be the cinematic event of next year. Keep your eyes on this one — it’s destined to dominate your feed and your group chats.

Cue the Couture & Chaos — First Devil Wears Prada 2 Teaser Just Dropped

The first teaser trailer for The Devil Wears Prada 2 is here. In just under a minute, we’re served red‑heeled stomps, sharp glares, designer chaos, and high-stakes office drama — Miranda Priestly (Meryl Streep) is icy as ever, Andy Sachs (Anne Hathaway) is back navigating power plays, and wardrobe moments that slay harder than ever. The teaser also nods to the original’s iconic Vogue beat, giving a wink to long-time fans while promising the same high-fashion chaos we’ve been waiting 20 years for.

Coming to cinemas April 30th, 2026

Zayn & Louis to reunite for Netflix road trip series

Zayn & Louis Reunite for a Netflix Road Trip

Almost a decade after Zayn Malik’s shock departure from One Direction, he and Louis Tomlinson are reuniting on screen, though not in the way anyone imagined. The pair are fronting a new three-part Netflix documentary that follows them on a cross-country road trip through the United States, a journey spiked with reunion, reflection and just enough chaos to keep things interesting.

Directed by Nicola Marsh (Song Exploder, Taylor Swift: Miss Americana) and produced by Campfire Studios, the series promises a candid portrait of two friends finding their way back to each other. Expect late-night conversations about fractured friendships and the long road to forgiveness, reflections on solo stardom versus boyband fame, and plenty of unscripted detours that put their rekindled bond to the test.

The reunion carries particular poignancy in the wake of Liam Payne’s passing in 2024 — a loss that brought the former bandmates closer and sparked whispers of reconciliation. Netflix is already framing the project as part love letter to fans, part ode to friendship, billing it as “a spontaneous adventure of reconnection, exploration, and laughter.”

With nostalgia in the rear-view mirror and wide American highways ahead, this series isn’t just for One Direction loyalists — it’s shaping up as an emotional ride for anyone who’s ever lost touch and wondered what it really takes to find your way back.

Expected release date in 2026

Coming 2026

The Summer I Turned Pretty Is Coming to the Big Screen

The world has been swept up in the tides of The Summer I Turned Pretty — and now, it’s about to take its next big leap. At the Season 3 finale premiere, Prime Video dropped the surprise of the summer: a movie is officially on the way for Belly and Conrad. Showrunner and author Jenny Han teased what’s next, saying Belly still has one major chapter ahead, and it deserves nothing less than a movie. Fans can expect all the sun-soaked nostalgia, tangled love stories and Cousins Beach magic to follow, but this time, on the silver screen.

Big Little Lies

It’s Official: Big Little Lies Has Been Renewed for a Third Season

After six long years, HBO has confirmed Big Little Lies season three is in the works. And yes, the OG powerhouse cast is returning: Nicole Kidman, Reese Witherspoon, Shailene Woodley, Zoë Kravitz, and Laura Dern are all back in action. Behind the scenes, there’s a fresh perspective — Francesca Sloane (Atlanta, Mr. & Mrs. Smith) will write the first episode and serve as executive producer. New secrets, new twists, and the same perfectly curated chaos await… and we are here for it. Release date still to come.

Clueless

Cher’s Back, Baby: Clueless Sequel is Totally Buggin’

Break out the plaid skirts and feather-trimmed pens — Cher Horowitz is officially making her comeback. Peacock has confirmed a Clueless sequel series, with Alicia Silverstone reprising her most iconic role and joining as executive producer. The original film’s creator, Amy Heckerling, is back on board, along with the brains behind Gossip Girl and The O.C., promising a fresh spin with all the Beverly Hills sparkle we love. Story details are still under wraps, but one thing’s certain: our ’90s fashion muse is about to serve a whole new era of totally buggin’.

The Goonies

Hey You Guys! The Goonies Sequel Is Finally Happening

Four decades, five abandoned scripts, and a generation of treasure-hunting superfans later, The Goonies 2 is officially in the works. No, not a reboot (thank the truffle shuffle gods), but a Spielberg-backed, Chris Columbus-produced sequel — one that’s being treated with the reverence of a long-lost map to One-Eyed Willy’s cave.

It’s still early days — no director yet, but Old Henry’s Potsy Ponciroli is penning the script, with Spielberg, Columbus, and Lauren Shuler Donner among the producers. As for the original cast? Let’s call it cautiously optimistic. Ke Huy Quan is keen, Josh Brolin’s wary, and Corey Feldman wants a Top Gun: Maverick approach — not Ghostbusters redux. If all goes to plan, expect to reunite with the gang (and hopefully their inhalers) sometime in 2026 or 2027. Because Goonies never say die; they just take a really, really long time to come back.

TriStar Reignites ‘The Nightingale’, with Dakota and Elle Fanning to Star in the Film Adaptation the Best-Selling Novel

It’s been a long road out of war-torn France, but TriStar’s The Nightingale — adapted from Kristin Hannah’s global bestseller — has landed a release date: February 12th, 2027. Dakota and Elle Fanning will finally star together on screen, with To Leslie’s Michael Morris directing the WWII epic about two sisters navigating survival and resistance in Nazi-occupied France. After years of pandemic delays and director reshuffles, it’s finally all systems go.

With Reese Witherspoon’s Hello Sunshine producing, a Valentine’s-Super Bowl counterprogramming slot, and 11 million books sold, this long-gestating adaptation is poised to fly.

Release date: 12th February, 2027

Harriet Dyer and Patrick Brammall in Colin From Accounts

From Rom-Com to Runway: Patrick Brammall’s Unexpected Leap into Devil Wears Prada Sequel

Patrick Brammall, fresh from the Aussie rom-com hit Colin From Accounts, is stepping into the glitzy, cutthroat world of The Devil Wears Prada 2 — and he’s playing Anne Hathaway’s new beau. Talk about a glow-up: from small-screen charm to runway romance, Brammall’s casting feels like the ultimate power move. With the original’s Adrian Grenier out, this fresh face is poised to bring a cheeky, down-to-earth spark to Andy Sachs’ love life — because in the world of high fashion, even love needs a little reinvention. Expect sparks (and stilettos) to fly when filming wraps this April.

Dawson’s Creek

Pacey & Joey Are Back Together — And This Time It’s Adulting Chaos

Katie Holmes and Joshua Jackson are officially reuniting on screen — and honestly, our Dawson’s Creek hearts can barely handle it. But this isn’t a teenage heartbreak rerun. Katie’s writing, directing, and starring in Happy Hours — a three-part film trilogy diving deep into love, career chaos, and all the messy adulting we’re still winging. Joshua’s back too, bringing that iconic Joey charm straight to NYC this summer. With Mary-Louise Parker and Constance Wu joining the cast, expect sharp laughs, genuine feels, and a reunion long overdue. Buckle up — adulting just got seriously binge-worthy.

Daisy Edgar Jones (Image Credit: @daisyedgarjones)

Daisy Edgar-Jones to Star in Stunning New Adaptation of Sense and Sensibility Written by Australian Author Diana Reid

Fans of Daisy Edgar-Jones are buzzing with excitement as the Normal People star is set to headline a fresh film adaptation of Jane Austen’s beloved Sense and Sensibility. With a screenplay by acclaimed Australian novelist Diana Reid — known for her sharp, contemporary storytelling in novels like Love & Virtue and Signs of Damage — and directed by BAFTA-nominated Georgia Oakley, this new take promises to breathe modern vitality into the classic.

Produced by Focus Features and Working Title Films, the movie is slated for release in 2026 or early 2027. Prepare for a captivating blend of timeless romance and fresh energy, all wrapped in Edgar-Jones’s magnetic performance. We couldn’t be more hyped!

Emma Mackey

Emma Mackey Cast as White Witch in Greta Gerwig’s Narnia

Emma Mackey (Sex Education) has been cast as the villainous White Witch in Netflix and Greta Gerwig’s adaptation of The Chronicles of Narnia. This evil spellcaster is responsible for plunging Narnia into an endless winter, and for turning her enemies into stone, and is the main villain in both Magician’s Nephew and The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe.

Mackey will likely be joined by Meryl Streep, who is currently in talks to play Aslan, the talking lion who is a vital character in the Chronicles. Set to be released late 2026, more casting details are yet to be announced.

Pride and Prejudice (Image Credit: Apple TV+)

Dolly Alderton to Write New Pride and Prejudice Series

Netflix has teamed up with best-selling author Dolly Alderton to create a new adaptation of the classic, Pride and Prejudice. Why is this being adapted yet again, you might ask? Because Dolly Alderton is writing the script and Euros Lyn (Heartstopper) is directing, we argue! Plus, who doesn’t love a good romantic comedy? Pride and Prejudice will be a six-part limited series and is said to closely follow the original text, which is filled with juicy drama, heart-wrenching romance and haunting twists. While no release date has been announced, several cast members have been confirmed. BAFTA-winning actor Jack Lowden is set to play Mr. Darcy, Golden Globe-winning actress Emma Corrin will take the role of Elizabeth Bennett, and Oscar-winning actress Olivia Colman will be assuming the role of Mrs. Bennett. It’s a star-studded cast, that’s for sure!

At CinemaCon, Mendes revealed the star-studded cast: Paul Mescal as Paul McCartney, Harris Dickinson as John Lennon, Barry Keoghan as Ringo Starr, and Joseph Quinn as George Harrison. Swoon! With the bold plan of releasing all four films as a cohesive cinematic experience, Sony is tapping into the band’s massive fanbase with what they’re calling “the first binge-able theatrical experience.” Prepare for an epic, multi-film deep dive into the lives of the Fab Four.
