Edward & Ida’s
Sunday roasts are officially back on the menu at one of our favourite innercity pubs, Edward & Ida’s, and boy does it look good. This year’s edition features a generous serve of their smoked and roasted chicken, chicken fat Yorkies as big as your head, glorious house-smoked chipolatas, crispy herb and garlic stuffing croquettes and a big ol’ jug of chicken gravy to top it all off. Each whopping plate is just $35. Available Sundays from 12.30pm. Book ahead to avoid missing out.
269 William St, Northbridge

Fallow
Fallow’s Sunday Roasts use nothing but the best local ingredients, and it makes for an exceptionally delicious, warm hug of a meal. The main meat varies from week to week (there’s a vegetarian option too), with Amelia Park south-west lamb shanks, Stirling ranges beef rump and mouthwatering local pork taking centre stage. Add the cosy fireside atmosphere outside in the garden (complete with marshmallows and everything), and this is easily one of the best places to tuck into a comforting Sunday roast in Perth.
314 William Street, Northbridge

Molly’s
The Irish know their way around a good roast dinner, so it should come as no surprise that Molly’s Sunday Roast is one of Perth’s favourites. Tuck into a rotating roast meat with all the trimmings and more than enough gravy to soak your plate. Served with a side of classic Irish craic, it’s the exact vibe we’re craving this winter. Available for lunch and dinner at both their Highgate and East Victoria Park locations every Sunday.

Daph’s Restaurant
The phenomenal $70pp three-course Sunday roast at open-fire Leederville restaurant, Daphs, is practically a winter rite of passage in Perth. This year’s edition starts with crispy chilli crab cakes before moving swiftly into the fire-roasted main meal — think pork belly, Picanha and lamb loin served with rosemary roast potatoes, gratinated cheesy leeks, poached carrots, fire roasted savoy, Yorkshire pudding and roasted jus. To finish, there’s a soul-warming sticky date pudding topped with smoked salted caramel and vanilla bean ice cream. And if that’s not heaven, we don’t know what is. Bookings essential.
Available Sundays 12pm or 2pm from 7th June
1/226 Oxford Street, Leederville

Seasonal Brewing Co.
Seasonal Brewing Co. does Sunday Roast like your gran wished she could (sorry, gran). Every week, it’s a new beast — slow-roasted, dripping with flavour, loaded with veg, and crowned with a Yorkshire pudding worth writing home about. It’s messy, mighty, and damn well delicious, and they even do a vegan version too. Bring mates, bring hunger, and don’t be late — it often sells out.

Besk
Head to Besk for a lovingly prepared, traditional Sunday Roast. Complemented by a menu of cosy winter warmers, their weekly centerpiece Sunday roast is always a winner, accompanied by roast potatoes, baby carrots, broccolini, whipped horseradish, Yorkshire pudding, and a generous side jug of red wine & port gravy.
The team rotates through exquisite selections such as Stirling Ranges striploin, Linley Valley pork porchetta, and Amelia Park lamb — and every roast churned out is truly a sight to see. We’re drooling just thinking about it. Available every Sunday throughout winter from midday until sold out.

The Raffles Hotel
Settle in at Raffles Hotel for a Sunday roast, available for lunch until sold out every Sunday for just $36. Indulge in a Marble 7 Wagyu Beef Topside, with all the trimmings: cauliflower cheese, roast potatoes, roast carrots, peas, Yorkshire pudding and gravy. It’s our go-to remedy for combating the Sunday Scaries.

Mount Helena Tavern
Elevate your Sunday with a hearty roast in the tranquil Perth Hills at Mount Helena Tavern. Cosy up and indulge in succulent slow-cooked meat served with seasonal veggies, corn on the cob, roast potatoes, and a Yorkshire pudding — don’t forget the gravy! Johnny Fox’s
When it comes to traditional Sunday roasts, you know you’ll get the real deal at Perth’s only late-night Irish bar, Johnny Fox’s. Choose from tender roast beef or the daily special (or have both for $8 extra). Served with all the trimmings (including a whopper Yorkshire pudding and the most delicious stuffing) this hearty meal is sure to set you up for the week ahead.

St Brigid
Doubleview’s chic wine bar, St Brigid, has been known to warm hearts over winter with their mouthwatering Sunday roast. Grab a spot by the gorgeous fireplace, order a glass of red and choose from one of their two roast options — beef or mushroom. Both come with roast veg, mashed potatoes, braised onions and red wine jus, plus a fluffy Yorkshire pudding. They’re yet to kick off roast season this year, so we’ll just have to keep an eye out for the announcement!
