This clever duo build every flavour from scratch, using locally sourced dairy, organic coconut milk (for their vegan varieties) and plenty of soul. They’re all about small-batch, handcrafted ice cream made with premium ingredients. Kuld drops five elite, limited edition flavours each month that keep us looking forward to every visit, but we never leave without getting at least one scoop of the double fudge brownie as well.

Cuccini Gelato 

Since opening their doors just over a year ago (in January 2023), William Street’s Cuccini Gelato has churned out artisanal small batch gelato made with natural ingredients, and the results are nothing short of incredible. With a focus on crafting original flavours from scratch, Cuccini Gelato pushes the boundaries of traditional gelato-making with their inventive and indulgent flavour combos. The line out the door says it all; this really is some of the best ice cream in Perth!

Stampede Gelato

There’s nothing vanilla about Stampede Gelato. Inside the Sunshine Harvester Works in Fremantle and at their shop in Mount Lawley, you’ll find premium hand made, small batch gelato in weird, wonderful and wholly original flavour combos; think white chocolate and Vegemite, Musk sticks with Nerds, Pink Nesquik and Wagon Wheels, and salt with honey —all of which are incredibly delicious of course.

Messina Gelato

Widely considered the ice cream mecca of the east coast, the iconic gelato giants Messina have brought their scoops of happiness over to Perth, and we’re pretty excited about it! Billy Van Creamy

Originating from a Melbourne ice cream truck, the guys at Billy Van Creamy have set up shop in Karrinyup’s West End precinct and are serving some of the most phenomenal, 100% natural, organic dairy ice cream and house made cashew milk vegan ice cream, all churned by hand. Flavours range from the classics to some rare and original flaves; think nectarine swirl, apricot and rosemary shortbread and blood plum and hibiscus sorbet.
