Marty Supreme
Marty Mauser will do anything to become the best table tennis player in the world. The problem is, nobody cares. This incredibly chaotic film might run for two and a half hours but a swift pace and erratic energy keep you on your toes. Another jewel in Timothee Chalamet’s crown, Marty Supreme is the perfect example of what not to do in the pursuit of greatness.

Mickey 17
Science fiction and dark comedy? Sounds like the perfect Friday night to us. From award-winning director of Parasite and Snowpiercer, Bong Joon Ho, this wild ride takes you into space and the year 2050. Robert Pattison is Mickey 17 (and 1, 2, 3, 4…you get the idea), a guy just trying to get by. In a bid to escape his life on earth, as well as a villainous loan shark, Mickey signs up to be an ‘expendable’ on a space voyage. This involves dangerous experiments that lead to Mickey’s continuous deaths and the ‘reprinting’ of his body, which naturally culminates in chaos.

Embark on a wild ride from the sofa as two avid conspiracy theorists kidnap a high-power CEO, convinced she is an alien sent to destroy earth. Having taken out a swathe of mentions at the 2026 Academy Awards, you’re guaranteed it’s gripping, from the score to the screenplay.

Wuthering Heights
If you didn’t make it to the cinema for, arguably, the most anticipated film of 2025, now is your chance to make a moment of it. Whilst incredibly divisive, and whether you approve of the adaptation or not, it’s worth a watch for the costumes and scenery alone. Directed by Emerald Fennell and starring Jacob Elordi and Margot Robbie, the film traces the chaos and tragedy that ensues when Heathcliffe falls in love with Catherine Earnshaw, a woman much wealthier than he. For those not familiar with the novel, no worries. The film doesn’t quite stick to the story anyway!

The Testament of Ann Lee
A cult? A musical? Amanda Seyfried? The Testament of Anne Lee has all three! Based on the true story of Ann Lee, an 18th-century Englishwoman who believed herself to be the female embodiment of Christ, the films traces her life, including a move to America and the foundation of the radical sect The Shakers. Expect plenty of catchy song and dance numbers.
