J-Law Unbound: Why The New “Die, My Love” Trailer Has Everyone Obsessed
Lynne Ramsay doesn’t make films — she detonates them. The trailer for her latest project, Die, My Love, has left us collectively unwell (in the best way). Jennifer Lawrence and Robert Pattinson both star and shine in what looks to be Ramsay’s most visceral descent yet: motherhood as madness, love as a slow undoing, shot through with beauty and dread. Lawrence burns through the screen — raw, magnetic, and probably on her way to an Oscar nomination — while Ramsay’s signature lyricism makes every frame feel ferociously alive.
It’s unsettling, hypnotic and already the film everyone will be dissecting by year’s end. Consider our tickets pre-booked and our emotional stability… pending.

Zayn & Louis Reunite for a Netflix Road Trip
Almost a decade after Zayn Malik’s shock departure from One Direction, he and Louis Tomlinson are reuniting on screen, though not in the way anyone imagined. The pair are fronting a new three-part Netflix documentary that follows them on a cross-country road trip through the United States, a journey spiked with reunion, reflection and just enough chaos to keep things interesting.
Directed by Nicola Marsh (Song Exploder, Taylor Swift: Miss Americana) and produced by Campfire Studios, the series promises a candid portrait of two friends finding their way back to each other. Expect late-night conversations about fractured friendships and the long road to forgiveness, reflections on solo stardom versus boyband fame, and plenty of unscripted detours that put their rekindled bond to the test.
The reunion carries particular poignancy in the wake of Liam Payne’s passing in 2024 — a loss that brought the former bandmates closer and sparked whispers of reconciliation. Netflix is already framing the project as part love letter to fans, part ode to friendship, billing it as “a spontaneous adventure of reconnection, exploration, and laughter.”
With nostalgia in the rear-view mirror and wide American highways ahead, this series isn’t just for One Direction loyalists — it’s shaping up as an emotional ride for anyone who’s ever lost touch and wondered what it really takes to find your way back.
Expected release date in 2026

Eternity Gets Its Australian Release Date: The Afterlife Love Story We’ve Been Waiting For

The Summer I Turned Pretty Is Coming to the Big Screen
The world has been swept up in the tides of The Summer I Turned Pretty — and now, it’s about to take its next big leap. At the Season 3 finale premiere, Prime Video dropped the surprise of the summer: a movie is officially on the way for Belly and Conrad. Showrunner and author Jenny Han teased what’s next, saying Belly still has one major chapter ahead, and it deserves nothing less than a movie. Fans can expect all the sun-soaked nostalgia, tangled love stories and Cousins Beach magic to follow, but this time, on the silver screen.

It’s Official: Big Little Lies Has Been Renewed for a Third Season
After six long years, HBO has confirmed Big Little Lies season three is in the works. And yes, the OG powerhouse cast is returning: Nicole Kidman, Reese Witherspoon, Shailene Woodley, Zoë Kravitz, and Laura Dern are all back in action. New secrets, new twists, and the same perfectly curated chaos await… and we are here for it. Release date still to come.
Twinless: Dylan O’Brien and James Sweeney Lead a Darkly Clever New Comedy
Dylan O’Brien returns to the big screen in Twinless, a whip-smart dark comedy that promises equal parts wit and heartbreak. Their unlikely bromance quickly deepens, but old wounds resurface with life-altering consequences.
With Lauren Graham and Aisling Franciosi rounding out the cast, Twinless is already being hailed as “a ferociously clever film full of big surprises.” Catch it in select cinemas from October 23rd.

The White Lotus Just Booked Its Next Check-In…and It’s France!
HBO’s The White Lotus has checked in for Season 4 — destination France. Deadline confirms Mike White and HBO have set their sights on l’Hexagone, with speculation circling three Four Seasons properties: the famed Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat on the Riviera, alpine Megève, and Paris’ palatial George V. While no hotel is locked, White has previously shunned chilly climes, making a sun-soaked setting more likely.
More privilege, satire and scandal are set to play out against a backdrop of glossy luxury and razor-sharp dysfunction — and we, for one, can’t wait.
The First Wuthering Heights Trailer Has Us Gasping for Air
Le gasp. The trailer for Emerald Fennell’s Wuthering Heights just dropped and we’re still trying to collect our wigs from the moors. Margot Robbie’s Catherine and Jacob Elordi’s Heathcliff are giving fever-dream feral energy — sweat, whips, finger-sucking, Charli XCX blaring over the Yorkshire Dales — and frankly, we don’t know if we’re scandalised, aroused, or both. It’s gothic, it’s horny, it’s utterly unhinged, and it might just be the most iconic trailer we’ve seen this year.
One thing’s for sure: Valentine’s Day 2026 is about to get feral.

“Kangaroo” Hops Offscreen to Make the Red Centre the Next Must-See Destination
From the visionary team behind Paddington comes Kangaroo — a tender family comedy set against the vast, ochre heart of Central Australia. More than a film, it is a poetic tribute to Alice Springs and its surrounding landscapes, weaving ancient Indigenous stories and breathtaking vistas into a narrative of unexpected friendship and the rescue of orphaned joeys. With two-thirds of travellers now inspired by screen stories, Kangaroo is poised to ignite a fresh wave of wanderlust, transforming the Northern Territory into 2025’s ultimate set-jetting destination.
Expect moments that move you — laughter, tears, and a profound reverence for the wild Aussie spirit. Featuring iconic locales like Simpsons Gap and the Kangaroo Sanctuary, this reel-to-reality journey invites families to discover, connect, and belong. It opens in cinemas on 18th September. Your next adventure begins here.

Cher’s Back, Baby: Clueless Sequel is Totally Buggin’
Break out the plaid skirts and feather-trimmed pens — Cher Horowitz is officially making her comeback. Peacock has confirmed a Clueless sequel series, with Alicia Silverstone reprising her most iconic role and joining as executive producer. The original film’s creator, Amy Heckerling, is back on board, along with the brains behind Gossip Girl and The O.C., promising a fresh spin with all the Beverly Hills sparkle we love. Story details are still under wraps, but one thing’s certain: our ’90s fashion muse is about to serve a whole new era of totally buggin’.

Hey You Guys! The Goonies Sequel Is Finally Happening
Four decades, five abandoned scripts, and a generation of treasure-hunting superfans later, The Goonies 2 is officially in the works. No, not a reboot (thank the truffle shuffle gods), but a Spielberg-backed, Chris Columbus-produced sequel — one that’s being treated with the reverence of a long-lost map to One-Eyed Willy’s cave.
It’s still early days — no director yet, but Old Henry’s Potsy Ponciroli is penning the script, with Spielberg, Columbus, and Lauren Shuler Donner among the producers. As for the original cast? Let’s call it cautiously optimistic. Ke Huy Quan is keen, Josh Brolin’s wary, and Corey Feldman wants a Top Gun: Maverick approach — not Ghostbusters redux. If all goes to plan, expect to reunite with the gang (and hopefully their inhalers) sometime in 2026 or 2027. Because Goonies never say die; they just take a really, really long time to come back.

A velvet-gloved dissection of resilience, transformation and life’s stickier truths, delivered with that oracular warmth only she possesses.
It’s part gospel, part TED Talk, and entirely Oprah. No spin, no script — just a woman, a microphone, and a nation ready to listen.

Everything We Know About Christopher Nolan’s Mythic Masterpiece, The Odyssey
Christopher Nolan trades quantum riddles for raging seas in The Odyssey — a thunderous, all-or-nothing retelling of Homer’s ancient epic. This time, it’s Matt Damon steering the ship as Odysseus, with Tom Holland, Zendaya, Anne Hathaway, Lupita Nyong’o, Robert Pattinson, Jon Bernthal, and Charlize Theron (as Circe, say less) filling out the dream cast.
Shot entirely on IMAX and filmed across windswept coasts, sun-bleached ruins and moody northern shores, it’s shaping up to be Nolan’s most audacious vision yet. Think: sirens, sea monsters, and storm-wracked men grappling with fate — wrapped in the emotional heft only Nolan can hurl like a thunderbolt. Intimate, operatic, and absolutely colossal.

From Rom-Com to Runway: Patrick Brammall’s Unexpected Leap into Devil Wears Prada Sequel
Patrick Brammall, fresh from the Aussie rom-com hit Colin From Accounts, is stepping into the glitzy, cutthroat world of The Devil Wears Prada 2 — and he’s playing Anne Hathaway’s new beau. Talk about a glow-up: from small-screen charm to runway romance, Brammall’s casting feels like the ultimate power move. With the original’s Adrian Grenier out, this fresh face is poised to bring a cheeky, down-to-earth spark to Andy Sachs’ love life — because in the world of high fashion, even love needs a little reinvention. Expect sparks (and stilettos) to fly when filming wraps this April.

Pacey & Joey Are Back Together — And This Time It’s Adulting Chaos
Katie Holmes and Joshua Jackson are officially reuniting on screen — and honestly, our Dawson’s Creek hearts can barely handle it. But this isn’t a teenage heartbreak rerun. Katie’s writing, directing, and starring in Happy Hours — a three-part film trilogy diving deep into love, career chaos, and all the messy adulting we’re still winging. Joshua’s back too, bringing that iconic Joey charm straight to NYC this summer. With Mary-Louise Parker and Constance Wu joining the cast, expect sharp laughs, genuine feels, and a reunion long overdue. Buckle up — adulting just got seriously binge-worthy.

Who’s Joining Miranda Priestly in The Devil Wears Prada 2? The Sequel’s Stacked

Anne Hathaway returns as fashion’s most traumatised former assistant Andy Sachs, with Meryl Streep once again slipping into the icy stilettos of Miranda Priestly. Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci are also back (justice!), alongside Tracie Thoms and Tibor Feldman.
But it’s the fresh faces making headlines, with Bridgerton‘s Simone Ashley, Lucy Liu, B.J. Novak, Justin Theroux, Pauline Chalamet, and Caleb Hearon all set to join the chic chaos. Also confirmed: Broadway stars Helen J. Shen and Tony-nominee Conrad Ricamora. Oh — and Kenneth Branagh, who’ll play Miranda’s husband. No big deal.
Set for May 1st, 2026 release

Fast & the Faithful: Vin Diesel Promises Paul Walker ‘Reunion’ in Furious Finale
Twelve years after Paul Walker’s tragic passing, Vin Diesel says the final Fast & Furious film won’t hit screens without Brian O’Conner. Speaking at FuelFest, Diesel revealed his third and most surprising condition for Fast 11 — “reuniting Dom and Brian.” Cue speculation of a full CGI resurrection, though fans remain torn. Will this be a touching tribute or an uncanny misstep?
Either way, the family’s coming home to LA — and it looks like their last ride will be the most emotional one yet.
Fast 11 lands April 2027

Lena Dunham’s New Series Too Much Is Giving Transatlantic Chaos, Romance and Razor-Sharp Wit
The queen of millennial mess is back — and this time, she’s swapped Brooklyn for Big Ben. Lena Dunham’s new Netflix series Too Much drops July 10th, and from the first trailer alone, it’s clear we’re in for a chaotic-good romantic reckoning. Think Fleabag meets Girls, but with better lighting and a touch more emotional growth.
Starring the brilliantly off-kilter Meg Stalter (Hacks) as a heartbroken New Yorker navigating London life and an unexpected connection with a scruffy British musician (played by The White Lotus’s Will Sharpe), Too Much dives into love, self-sabotage, and the art of starting over — often with a hangover.
Expect sharp dialogue, messy flats, and painful truths, anchored by a stellar supporting cast including Naomi Watts, Stephen Fry, Richard E. Grant, and Rhea Perlman. Not to mention notable guest appearances from Andrew Scott, Kit Harington, Andrew Rannells, Jennifer Saunders, Emily Ratajkowski, Jessica Alba, and Rita Ora. Co-created with her real-life husband, Luis Felber, who also provides the soundtrack (yes, really), this promises to be Dunham’s most honest, hilarious, and vulnerable work in years.
In short? It’s a must-watch for anyone who’s ever made a bad decision on a good date.

Kim Kardashian’s Out for Revenge in the ‘All’s Fair’ Teaser Trailer
Kim Kardashian may not yet be a lawyer, but she’s playing one in the new Ryan Murphy created series All’s Fair, which dropped it’s first teaser trailer this morning.
The reality star-turned-actress appears alongside a star-studded cast that includes Aussie Naomi Watts, Glenn Close, Teyana Taylor and Sarah Paulson in the highly-anticipated legal drama that follows a team of female divorce attorneys who open their own “powerhouse practice” in Los Angeles.
Taking the stance that a girl’s best friend isn’t diamonds, but instead her divorce lawyers, the series appears to have everything we’d expect from a Ryan Murphy backed show: high fashion, luxury lifestyles and plenty of over-the-top drama. (He was, after all, the mastermind behind Glee, American Horror Story and Nip/Tuck).
While no exact release date has been announced, it’s due to drop in the US later this year, so we can expect to see it on Disney Plus at the same time.

Aussie Actor Announced as Haymitch in New Hunger Games Film
Exciting new details have been announced for the latest upcoming film in the Hunger Games series: Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping. The Hunger Games Instagram account is rolling out casting announcements, and we officially have our Haymitch Abernathy and Lenore Dove! While the shortlist released earlier this year had heartthrobs including Jacob Elordi, Tom Holland, Drew Starkey and Mike Faist as contenders for Haymitch, it was 20-year-old Australian actor, Joseph Zada (also known as Jo Cumpston), who secured the position. Best known for his roles in Invisible Boys and We Were Liars, this will be Joseph’s first role in a major blockbuster film. Joining him will be Whitney Peak as Lenore Dove, Haymitch’s rebellious love interest. You may recognise Whitney Peak from the 2021 Gossip Girl reboot, wherein she starred as Zoya Lott. Two more cast members have been announced: Mckenna Grace to play Maysilee Donner, another District 12 tribute and Haymitch’s ally, and Jesse Plemons to play a younger Plutarch Heavensbee.
Billy Ray, the screenwriter for the original Hunger Games film in 2012 will be writing the series’ latest adaptation from Suzanne Collins’ recently released novel, and we’re feverish with excitement. Set to be released in November 2026, we won’t be seeing a trailer any time soon. But the second it drops, we’ll be sat.

Emma Mackey Cast as White Witch in Greta Gerwig’s Narnia
Emma Mackey (Sex Education) has been cast as the villainous White Witch in Netflix and Greta Gerwig’s adaptation of The Chronicles of Narnia. This evil spellcaster is responsible for plunging Narnia into an endless winter, and for turning her enemies into stone, and is the main villain in both Magician’s Nephew and The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe.
Mackey will likely be joined by Meryl Streep, who is currently in talks to play Aslan, the talking lion who is a vital character in the Chronicles. Set to be released late 2026, more casting details are yet to be announced.

Dolly Alderton to Write New Pride and Prejudice Series
Netflix has teamed up with best-selling author Dolly Alderton to create a new adaptation of the classic, Pride and Prejudice. Why is this being adapted yet again, you might ask? Because Dolly Alderton is writing the script and Euros Lyn (Heartstopper) is directing, we argue! Plus, who doesn’t love a good romantic comedy? Pride and Prejudice will be a six-part limited series and is said to closely follow the original text, which is filled with juicy drama, heart-wrenching romance and haunting twists. While no release date has been announced, several cast members have been confirmed. BAFTA-winning actor Jack Lowden is set to play Mr. Darcy, Golden Globe-winning actress Emma Corrin will take the role of Elizabeth Bennett, and Oscar-winning actress Olivia Colman will be assuming the role of Mrs. Bennett. It’s a star-studded cast, that’s for sure!

Cast Announced for Upcoming Harry Potter TV Series
Yes, you read that correctly—a Harry Potter TV series is officially in the works and will be hitting our screens sooner than you think. The upcoming series is part of a decade-long deal between Warner Bros. and HBO, spanning 10 seasons, with filming set to begin this summer (winter for us Australians). It’s expected to premiere on HBO Max in late 2026 or 2027, and the first part of the highly anticipated Harry Potter cast has finally been announced. The cast is as follows:
- John Lithgow as Dumbledore
- Paapa Essiedu as Severus Snape
- Janet McTeer as Minerva McGonagall
- Nick Frost as Rubeus Hagrid
- Luke Thallon as Quirinus Quirrell
- Paul Whitehouse as play Argus Filch
More cast announcements are to come. Harry, Ron and Hermione are predicted to be newcomers to the acting industry after Warner Bros. launched an open casting call looking for children between ages nine and 11. There are also rumours that Cilian Murphy is to play Voldemort, although nothing has been confirmed. However, after the Nick Frost rumours to play Hagrid proved to be true, we’re staying hopeful.
Behind the scenes, Succession alums Francesca Gardiner and Mark Mylod will serve as executive producers, with Gardiner also stepping in as showrunner and Mylod directing multiple episodes. Adding to the excitement, Holly Waddington—Oscar winner for Best Costume Design for Poor Things—has been announced as the TV series’ costume designer, so we’re in for a real treat in the wardrobe department!
Watch this space, more updates are sure to come.

Leighton Meester Joins Cast of Nobody Wants This for Season Two
Best known for her iconic performance as Blair Waldorf in Gossip Girl, Leighton Meester is set to join the star-studded cast of Nobody Wants This for its sophomore season. Starring alongside her real-life husband, Adam Brody, and Kristen Bell, Meester will play Abby—Joanne’s (Kristen Bell) middle-school-nemesis-turned-influencer.
Interestingly, this isn’t the first time Bell and Meester have worked together. True fans will remember that while Meester played Blair on Gossip Girl, Bell was the infamous voice behind the show’s scandalous gossip blog.
Shooting for season two kicks off the week of the 24th February, so we can expect to see the new season on our screens in the not-too-distant future!
