Wine & Vinyl Night
Combine your love for wine, vinyl and delicious Japanese food at B-SIDE x Yoko’s exclusive event featuring Joshua Cooper Wines. Recently named as 2024’s Best New Winery by the Halliday Wine Companion Awards, this special event will showcase Joshua’s latest releases paired with an izakaya-style menu.
Plus, one lucky guest will win a Single Vineyard magnum to take home and enjoy.

Portside Sundazed Sessions
Portside is dishing up a healthy dose of sunshine and good times this month, with the launch of Sundazed Sessions. This activation sees venues across the Portside precinct serving up special drinks and menu offers for you to enjoy at your whim.
- Dumbo has collaborated with Four Pillars to bring you a pop-up spritz bar, serving a special edition Dumbo Spritz, available as both a single serve or a carafe. The full menu is available for takeaway, which makes the perfect waterfront picnic.
- Fosh Tails will serve $2 oysters each Sunday, which go down a treat with the waterfront views & live music.
- Little Saigon Eatery has prepared a special takeaway picnic box for just $35, stocked with crispy pork banh mi, tiger prawn rice paper rolls, grilled pork meatball skewers, Vietnamese caramel flan and two cans of coke. Or, if you opt to dine in and spend over $40, you’ll receive complimentary homemade chicken spring rolls.
- Say cheers at Mademoiselle during Apero Hour. From 5pm to 7pm, you can enjoy $12 French cocktails like the Kir Royal, French Martini and the Black Raspberry Margarita.
- Recline at Byblos in their recently revitalised dining area, nibbling on Lebanese-inspired fare and enjoy a complimentary drink with any meal between 2pm and 6pm.
- Visit Gusto di Gianni for a luxurious champagne and oyster bar experience, curated in collaboration with Perrier-Jouët.
The Sundazed Sessions will be accompanied by an eclectic mix of live music acts such as the Gypsy Cats, D’Luxe, Connor Sax and Kahi Halim.

Innocent Bystander Pop-Up at Babylon
Innocent Bystander is known for doing things a little bit differently, and the return of their pop-up urban cellar door is no different.
Taking over Babylon Gardens at Riverside’s waterfront, this award-winning wine brand will host a free pop-up tattoo studio, live vinyl DJ performances, a bespoke wine dinner, long lunches, as well as a whole weekend devoted to their new Watermelon Spritz, including a Harry Styles lookalike competition with a $500 prize!

Nautilus Beach Club: Los Cabos
If cocktails in the pool sound like your idea of a perfect summer’s day–you’re in luck. Nautilus Beach Club returns to The Westin this summer with a Los Cabos edition.
Your ticket grants you access to the hotel’s pool, swim-up bar, live DJs and an exclusive cabana service every weekend. On the menu, you’ll find Mexican eats like soft shell Baja cod tacos, seasoned corn ribs and guacamole.
Sip on margs (classic, frozen, chilli or coconut), Aperol margaritas, a Cabos spritz or Brouhaha craft beers as you float in this inner-city oasis.

Nothing says wind-down like an Aperol Spritz by the water, so if you’re feeling thirsty this summer, it’s time to head down to Riverbar’s House of Aperol.

What’s on in Brisbane This Month – Lunar New Year
Lunar New Year at Donna Chang
Ignite your senses by dining at Donna Chang to celebrate Lunar New Year with a modern Chinese feast! Inspired by Sichuan flavours and authentic Cantonese cuisine, this inner-city restaurant has sourced top-quality local ingredients to craft an inspiring and delectable menu for their LNY events (with a wine and cocktail list that doesn’t miss!).
On Friday 9th February and Saturday 10th, you can book in for the Golden Serpent Banquet, with live dragon dancer performances across the venue, along with some extra special surprises! For the little ones, a Little Serpents Kids Banquet is available.

Lunar New Year 2025 at Stanley
Celebrate the Year of the Snake with Stanley’s Lunar New Year celebration feast. Head chef Louis Tikaram has curated special menu items that can be ordered à la carte, or added to the existing banquet offering.
Sample mixed seafood and black truffle dumplings, XO seafood with crispy noodles, coriander and shallots, five-spice roast duck with blood plum sauce and European truffle and local spanner crab egg fried rice with caviar.
The special menu items are available between Wednesday 29th January until Sunday 2nd February for lunch and dinner, with live dragon dancer performances each evening at 6:30pm and 8:30pm.

What’s on in Brisbane: Health & Wellness
$2 Swims at Council Pools
Take a dip in one of the Brisbane City Council’s 22 swimming pools around the city, for just $2. From the 1st of December to the 28th of February, you can cool off as regularly as you like at any one of the council’s swim centres as part of their cost-of-living initiative.

Macbeth
