A Tournament with Serious Star Power

Across three weeks, Sydney welcomes a powerhouse line-up of teams, each arriving with ambitious talent stacked across the pitch and plenty to play for.

One of the most anticipated fixtures? Australia v Korea Republic, set for Sunday 8th March at Stadium Australia, an 8pm slot that feels tailor-made for drama. From there, Sydney’s run gets even more intense, with two quarter-finals, a semi-final, and the Final on Saturday, 21st March, all unfolding right here in Sydney.

Over at Western Sydney Stadium, group matches from 3rd to 10th March will showcase rising stars, tactical battles and the sort of unexpected turns that make tournament football so addictive.

The tournament anthem #DreamFearless speaks for itself — this is football with edge, ambition and real heart.

A City Turning It On

Sydney never misses an opportunity to throw an atmosphere-driven party, and February offers a dazzling preview. On Sunday, 22nd February, Darling Harbour hosts the AFC Women’s Asian Cup Drone Show — a free, sky-lit spectacle at Cockle Bay where 500 drones will choreograph towering animations in celebration of the tournament, marking one week to go.

With two showtimes (8:15pm and 9:15pm), there’s ample room for crowds, cameras and a little skyline magic.

By the time March arrives, the city’s vibe shifts. Parramatta buzzes with pre-match energy, the CBD becomes a natural gathering point for post-work fans, and neighbourhood venues lean all the way in, with screens glowing and conversation spilling out onto footpaths. It’s a true city-wide lift that only major sporting moments bring.
