Oyster season is back and these deals make slurping down your fair share that much easier.
With some of the world’s best beaches on our doorstep, many of life’s rituals naturally unfold by the sea. We’re tied to its rhythms, enamoured by its beauty and very fond of the culinary delights hauled up from its depths each day. And come summer, fresh oysters — many of which are plucked and shucked right here in WA — take centre stage.
You’ll spot them on menus across the city, but for the best-value slurps you need to know where (and when) to look. Oyster clubs, cheeky sessions and weekly happy hours are popping up all over Perth, serving premium shells at wallet-friendly prices. Translation: more oysters, more often and zero spending regret. A habit we’re very willing to endorse.
Servo
Servo is quickly becoming a go-to for Perth’s shellfish superfans thanks to its weekly Oyster Club Sundays. Every Sunday from 12pm, you can tuck into freshly shucked oysters from just $2 each, paired with rotating martinis, pét-nats and other summer-friendly sips.
For those who operate exclusively in “more oysters, please” mode, keep an eye out for Servo’s bottomless oyster sessions. Two hours of unlimited oysters and cocktails is exactly as dangerous (and delightful) as it sounds. January’s first session just dropped, so move quickly if you want to book a seat.

Margot’s has made oyster hour a daily ritual, serving $1.50 freshly shucked oysters every day from 4pm to 6pm. Sit outside in the street front alfresco, add on banging charcuterie and top tier martinis, and you have the perfect girl dinner situation.

Here, you can score seriously fresh oysters at prices that feel almost too good to be true. Dine-in shells will set you back just $38 for a dozen and $20 for half, but what you really want to watch out for is their oyster parties — offering $2 dine-in shells or $1 oysters to take home if you’re happy to shuck them yourself. Keep an eye on socials for the latest and prepare to drop everything when new dates are announced.

South Beach gem Madalena’s has been known to dish up a damn good oyster aperitivo special upstairs. Regardless of whether you nail the timing, though, if you’re going to splurge on full-priced oysters, Madalena’s is our pick. Book ahead for a seat in the downstairs restaurant, where alfresco dining meets laidback seaside elegance or take it to the bar upstairs and soak up the sea breeze. The freshest oysters, an impeccable coastal atmosphere and a drinks list that never misses are all guaranteed.
