The Australian Fashion Labels A-Listers Swear By
Turns out the biggest celebs are just as obsessed with Aussie labels as we are.

Whether we’re shopping for a chic event dress or topping up our capsule wardrobe, Australian fashion labels are always our first port of call. Call us biased, but we genuinely think our local designers are doing it best, and there’s a growing list of a-list celebs who agree.
From Kendall Jenner and Hailey Bieber to Meryl Streep and Margot Robbie, when the world’s most stylish stars need a showstopping ensemble, these are the Australian designers they turn to.
Consider it your cue to show them a little extra love.
Dissh
In the world of fashion brand spotting, seeing your label on the one and only Miranda Priestly (aka Meryl Streep) while out on The Devil Wears Prada 2 press tour is pretty hard to top. The fashion icon stepped out in the Gold Coast label’s Romy Barrel Leg Tailored Pant — a fashion-forward take on the classic high-rise wide-leg tailored pant with a sculptural balloon leg and inverted pleats to give the fit extra structure (and a little bit of drama). It’s the perfect example of Dissh’s clean, contemporary aesthetic, and served as the ideal base for a striking red leather coat, striped shirt and oversized red sunglasses. We think even Anna Wintour would approve.

Bared Footwear
Bared, the podiatrist-founded Aussie footwear brand beloved by women who refuse to wear painful heels, has been racking up the celeb spottings lately. Influencer Alix Earle trusted the brand’s Hillstar Boots to get her through endless hours of dancing at Coachella — proving these pieces nail the practical yet stylish brief.
The label also got its flowers when Meryl Streep appeared on SiriusXM’s Front Row with her Devil Wears Prada co-star Anne Hathaway. Dressed in head-to-toe black, Bared’s Mino Black Leather & Hardware Heeled Boots really were the main attraction.

St Agni
Blending timeless silhouettes, precise tailoring, and modern design details, Byron Bay-born label, St Agni, is having a real a-list moment. Most recently, Pamela Anderson was snapped in the label’s Merino Wool Ballet Cardigan in Sydney ahead of her speaking tour, and Meghan Markle showed up in Melbourne in the Suede Column Skirt and matching Suede Jacket. Kendall Jenner is also a longtime fan — spotted in a two piece skirt and top from the Aussie brand while at Paris Fashion Week.

With Jéan
Aussie label With Jéan is well and truly celeb-approved. Margot Robbie was most recently seen in their Luca Dress — a strapless black mini dress with a bubble hem, dropped waist, and a double eyelet belt with buckle detailing. Before that, Kaia Gerber was spotted rocking the Lana Top and Lila Skirt from the Baciami collection, channeling serious noughties vibes. Then Miss Hailey Bieber herself rocked the same top with a 2000s-inspired pencil midi, proving the label’s slim-fit and gathered-shoulder pieces are versatile enough to dress up or down.
Oh, and let’s not forget Dua Lipa in one of the label’s polka-dot Juni bikinis and Bella Hadid wearing multiple With Jéan pieces in one weekend, either. Safe to say, the vintage-inspired brand is now a fixture in star-studded wardrobes, and your wardrobe could be next.
Sir.
Founded in 2014 by friends Nikki Campbell and Sophie Coote, Sir. epitomises contemporary Australian femininity through minimal silhouettes and fluid movement. Known for its effortless coastal sensibility, the Sydney-based label brings a relaxed refinement to every occasion. Sir’s dresses are iconic, but it was the label’s accessories that stole the show when Margot Robbie rocked her viral all-Aussie, all-black airport look. The sunnies that elevated the whole fit? Sir. of course.

Beare Park
While we’re on the subject of Margot’s viral airport look, we have to mention Beare Park. The luxury Australian designer is responsible for the cool girl coded bermuda shorts and long sleeve t-shirt that sent the internet into a spin. Meghan Markle also had her own Beare Park moment in a black off-the-shoulder merino knit from the Australian brand while appearing at the Nexus Summit, where she was captured by local style icon Lisa Wipfli. Both are perfect examples of Beare Park’s approach to style and design — creating pieces that feel simple yet elevated, bold yet timeless, and all built on a base of expert craftsmanship. We’re glad to see the brand get its dues.

Mode Mischief Studios
Melbourne label Mode Mischief is heavily inspired by the ’90s. The result? Ultra cool, Pinterest-worthy outfits that will instantly make you feel as though you’re the main character in a movie. Mode Mischief is so iconic; their pieces have even been seen on the likes of Hailey Bieber, Tate McRae, and, recently, Emma Chamberlain, Pink Pantheress, and Australian social media influencer, Sophia Begg (@sophadophaa). Drawing inspiration from femininity, this brand does small, conscious drops that you won’t neglect at the back of your wardrobe after wearing for one season. They are the kind of pieces that will forever be on rotation.
