While in town to launch rhode, Hailey Bieber touched down in Sydney and chose the ultra-luxurious Capella Sydney for her stay. While we don’t have concrete proof, a little Instagram sleuthing strongly suggests she stayed in the two-level Liberty Suite with expansive city and Harbour Bridge views. The suite’s soaring ceilings and windows make for an Instagram-lover’s dream, so it’s only fair she engaged in a few photo opps.
In 2025, the hotel achieved major global acclaim, ranking No. 12 in the world and named Best Hotel in Oceania at The World’s 50 Best Hotels awards in London, so it’s little wonder she chose to check in here. Dua Lipa and The Darling at The Star Sydney
During her 2019 visit for the ARIA Awards, Dua Lipa reportedly stayed in the luxurious penthouse at The Darling Hotel at The Star Sydney.
Known for its sophisticated, design-rich suites, the property features expansive city views, luxe interiors and enough privacy to keep a pop icon feeling nice and zen between gigs.

Taylor Swift and Crown Towers
During her 2024 Eras Tour shows in Melbourne, Taylor Swift reportedly checked into the ultra-luxurious Presidential Villa at Crown Towers in Southbank. The sprawling two-bedroom, 1,090-square-metre penthouse suite is one of the largest hotel suites in the country, complete with a private butler, 24-hour security and panoramic views across the city skyline.
This certainly feels like the kind of discreet, high-security glamour befitting a star of her stature.

Liam Hemsworth and The Calile Hotel
Actor Liam Hemsworth was spotted at The Calile Hotel in Fortitude Valley in 2020, where he reportedly stayed overnight and dined at the hotel’s acclaimed on-site Greek restaurant, Hellenika. With its breezy Mediterranean aesthetic, cabana-lined pool deck and suite-style rooms with private terraces, The Calile has become Queensland’s unofficial A-list address and an obvious choice for a low-key luxe stay.

Novak Djokovic, Nicola Coughlan, Paul McCartney and Sequoia Lodge
Tucked into the Adelaide Hills, Sequoia Lodge feels miles away from it all — yet it’s still just a short drive from the city. Tennis champion. Novak Djokovic stayed at the adults-only retreat during the 2023 Adelaide International, closely followed by Sir Paul McCartney during his Got Back Australian tour in the same year, while Bridgerton’s Nicola Coughlan snuck away with her boyfriend for some serious downtime in 2025, also dining at the on-site restaurant, Hardy’s Verandah. Think hills views, luxe cabins, and all the privacy you could want… but still close enough to grab a coffee in town.
