What’s On in Perth: April 2026

The only guide you need to what's on in Perth this month and beyond.

Cosy Del’s

This month in Perth (April 2026), the city settles into its sweet spot — warmish 20 to 25 degree days, cooler evenings and a city beginning to exhale after Easter’s choc-filled chaos. As the packed calendar eases, what’s left feels more laidback: sauna dates, art exhibitions, weekend markets and long lunches that stretch into golden hour. Evenings are for comfort feeds, cosy jazz bars and intimate dining. Whether you’re a local savouring the city’s autumn glow or a visitor chasing a slice of West Australian charm, consider this your editor-approved event schedule for the month ahead. The Cheese Shop

Raclette Melts at The Cheese Shop

Mark Saturday April 18th (10am – 2pm) in your diaries, because it is officially the first raclette melt of the season! Basically, the ideal bite for a crisp autumn day in the Perth Hills. Oh, and while you’re there, don’t forget to browse the 100+ local and international cheeses on offer — it’s the perfect excuse for a Perth Hills providore hop.

Editor’s note: The raclette melt is only available once a month (always a Saturday) from April to August, so it can get quite busy. Keep an eye on their Instagram for upcoming dates.
