The auction features an eclectic mix of items, including:

  • 250 laptops
  • 200 headphones
  • 60 Kindles
  • 80 handbags and wallets
  • 50 cameras
  • Over 400 pieces of jewelry and watches
  • Unopened perfumes and bottles of wine
  • Unique items like a giant teddy bear, a violin, and even a CPAP machine

Bidding starts at just $10, making it accessible for bargain hunters and treasure seekers alike.

Proceeds from the auction will fund free swimming lessons and water safety programs for local families through the Inner West Council Aquatics team. This initiative aims to provide essential skills to children who might otherwise miss out due to financial constraints. Since 2013, Sydney Airport’s Lost Property Auctions have raised over $1.9 million for community and charity initiatives.

The auction is conducted online by Theodore Bruce Auctioneers and Valuers, with different categories closing on successive days:

  • Tech & Gaming: Closes 9 June at 11:00 AM
  • Jewellery & Watches: Closes 10 June at 11:00 AM
  • Clothes & Shoes: Closes 11 June at 11:00 AM
  • Sunglasses, Bags & Accessories: Closes 11 June at 2:00 PM
  • Beauty, Alcohol & Home: Closes 12 June at 11:00 AM
