Shui

It’s not hard to fall in love with Shui’s special one-night-only Valentine’s Banquet. The evening begins with a glass of Howard Park Jeté Sparkling on arrival, before moving into a generous selection of modern Asian share plates (vegan option available). To finish? We’re particularly excited to dig into their Valentine’s-only lamington special: coconut sponge layered with raspberry gelée, coconut crémeaux and a bright raspberry sorbet. Yum!

Powells

Oh Powells, how we love thee. Nestled down a Leederville laneway, this charming fromagerie and wine bar has long been a favourite for date nights in Perth, and its special Valentine’s menu is well worth swooning over. Expect cheese and charcuterie alongside moreish little share plates like Mumma Powell’s famous focaccia and their delish vodka pasta with burrata, as well as a beautiful chocolate mousse to end your night on. To cap it off, you’ll also both get a glass of Riesling, Pinot Noir or Prosecco on arrival — all for just $89pp. Stunning!

12 Electric Lane, Leederville

Pearla & Co

Intimate, beachside elegance meets exceptional seafood at Pearla & Co in North Fremantle. The new coastal kitchen lets local produce do the talking, with a seasonal share-style set menu reflective of WA’s best — from bright and zingy Rottnest Island Tuna crudo with cured watermelon, yuzu and chilli, to grilled Shark Bay Gold Band Snapper served with lemon peel beurre blanc, bay leaf oil and samphire.

Choose from a relaxed coastal long lunch sitting ($110pp), sunset dinner ($140) or candlelit dinner ($140pp) and settle in. This gorg feast will be one for the books!

Tigerfish

Make the most of the balmy night with a South East Asian-inspired date night by the coast at Tigerfish. Think tuna tartare negitoro-style, wagyu sirloin skewers, and a show-stopping Cervantes crayfish and seafood curry, finished with a warm date and chocolate fondant. Add on creative cocktails and a dreamy sunset view — you really can’t go wrong.

Samuels on Mill

If indulgent desserts are your love language, Samuels is the spot. Their viral tableside tiramisu has been given a sweet overhaul, with a limited edition strawberries and cream scooping just for Valentine’s Day, alongside their gorgeous seasonal menu. To add to the allure, they’ve got a special Valentine’s Day cocktail and a pop-up photobooth so you can sneak away for a loved-up snap.

Don’t feel like going out? A $35 takeaway version of their tiramisu is also available!

The Standard

The Standard’s swoon-worthy alfresco, bar and kitchen screams romance, as does their special $90 Valentine’s Day menu. Think: stracciatella, charcuterie, and sourdough with parmesan butter, through to tiger prawns, lamb rump and fried baby potatoes, with a choccie dessert to finish. If good food is the way to your heart, you’ll be falling hard here.

The State Buildings

Home to some of Perth’s most romantic restaurants, you’re absolutely spoilt for choice inside the illustrious State Buildings. For a truly unforgettable evening, go for a six-course degustation at Wildflower and soak up glimmering views over the city between each spectacular course. Prefer something with a little more heat? Head down to the Long Chim basement for a fiery Thai feast and unforgettable cocktails. More of a classic romantic? Try Post for heartwarming pasta and wine, or Wine Merchant for oysters and champagne. If you’re still unsure, Petition’s inviting dining room and contemporary three-course menu is always a win. Seafood lovers will fall head over heels for Double Rainbow’s punchy Korean fusion Valentine’s menu. Think: spiced tuna tartare, wood-fired squid, scallop and prawn dumplings, and charcoal-grilled snapper. Add on a $50 oyster and bubbles pairing if you really want to go all out. Then keep the night going with a Fringe World show at The Rechabite or a sky-high sip up at Hello Rooftop Bar.

This gorgeously cosy neighbourhood wine bar in the heart of Mount Lawley is oozing the romance vibes this V-Day, with an exquisite $105 set menu featuring some of their most spectacular Italian-inspired dishes. Lums

With free-flowing aperitivo sips and Spanish-inspired plates, the girls are in good hands at Lums this year. Their Galentine’s bottomless comes in at $85 a ticket and includes 90 minutes of good stuff like limoncello spritzes, peach bellinis, wines and bubbles. It sells itself.

Lil’s Rooftop Bar

Lil’s is hosting a dreamy Italian-inspired long lunch built for the girlies, featuring share plates and two hours of bottomless spritzes, wine and beer, all capped off with DJs, dancing and rooftop views. Bellissima!

Good Company

Good Company knows their way around a good bottomless, so you just know the Galentine’s session will hit all the right notes.
