From festive feasts to wandering the markets, these day out ideas are guaranteed to pop a smile on mum's dial and there sure is nothing more wholesome than that!

Homemade focaccia, a mouthwatering set menu and a complimentary glass of bubbles for mummas? Yes, please. Nico will be celebrating all the mums and mother figures this year with a good old-fashioned feast. The Rocks Markets have recently undergone a refresh with a whole team of new makers calling this weekly shopping destination their home. A wander through the historic pathways of The Rocks will you see enjoying live music, tasty bites and plenty of handmade goodies. You'll easily find a few treats to snag for mum along the way. We recommend packing a picnic rug and taking your spoils to Dawes Point Park to enjoy whilst taking in some unrivalled views of the Harbour Bridge.

Indulge in a French Feast at Chez Blue 

No mum would ever say no to a breezy lunch at a relaxed French bistro. This year, Chez Blue have a glass of complimentary bubbles ready and waiting for mum. Follow up with either an a la carte feast or enjoy some of the team's favourites with a two or three-course set menu. Look forward to the likes of chicken liver brûléed; gruyere and parmesan soufflé with velouté sauce and chive oil; barramundi Grenobloise and the passionfruit soufflé served with ice cream.
