ArtWalk to Light Up Port Macquarie CBD with Music, Lights & Culture This June

WHAT: ArtWalk has grown to become one of the signature cultural arts event in Port Macquarie, with exhibitions, activations, illuminations, live performances, artists markets, workshops, creative installations and more. This fabulous, family-friendly event brings people from all walks of live to the CBD for one colourful, creative night.

Port Macquarie-Hastings 2023 ArtWalk will be going ‘Up in Lights’ on Friday 9th June, with a full and fun program of open-air, outdoor activations, participatory events and live entertainment.
The super-popular evening program is the hot-ticket ‘main event’ held over one magical night, where Port Macquarie’s CBD comes alive with light, music and culture.
Queen’s Birthday long weekend will also have a number of satellite events to be enjoyed around the region.
ArtWalk Port Macquarie’s main program is set to feature incredible puppeteers from Curious Legends, stunning projections including the return of an ArtWalk favourite, John Thiering Sand Artist; light installations, participatory activities for adults and kids alike, the ArtBites Food Truck Central, and ArtWalk Artisans Market… plus so much more!

ArtWalk: A LONG WEEKEND OF FESTIVALS
In even more great news, ArtWalk 2023 leads into the region’s Sip & Savour Festival, which includes a long weekend of good food and drink and live performances from celebrated Australian performers The Rubens, Thelma Plum and 19-Twenty.
It’s a fully immersive 3 day event held in Westport Park, showcasing and celebrating a huge variety of the best of the region’s wine, beer, spirits and local gourmet food producers, complimented by culinary presentations from Masterchef finalist Mindy Woods, as well as masterclasses, workshops and family-friendly entertainment.
