Meet Percy’s Playground, the New Pub & Play Space in Guildford

Designed with little legs and big imaginations in mind, the brand new space is anchored by an epic two-storey nature playground from Nature Based Play (the same crew behind Clancy’s popular playground in Fremantle), encouraging hours of free play. Younger kids, meanwhile, can potter around the sandpit or settle into a toy-filled games corner, with shade sails and misters keeping things comfortable on warmer days.

Depending on the day, there’s often an extra layer of fun too, with pop-up entertainment like face painting fairies and other playful surprises making appearances.

Food-wise, Percy’s Playground understands the brief. Kids’ meals loaded with familiar favourites kids actually want to eat — think dino nuggets, spaghetti bolognese and hot chips, with a little fruit and veg tucked in for good measure. Adults, meanwhile, can settle in with quality coffee, cold beers and classic pub fare, all within easy reach of the playground, so no one feels rushed or pulled in opposite directions.
