Beth’s Bakery brings coffee and fresh-baked goods, made on-site every morning, to East Vic Park’s new multi-million dollar dining precinct. With the epic nature playground and Milly’s Barn (where playful chickens and ducks can be watched going about their day) mere steps away, it’s perfect for coffee and play dates fueled by flaky pastries and bouncy breads. Better yet, Greensleeves Gelato is also here for a post-play scoop. Both Beth’s Bakery and the playground are open from 7am every day; Greensleeves is open from 11am.

Laika
This Lathlain faithful has been serving the families of Perth for years. Not only does Laika have a spacious pram-friendly backyard complete with its own basketball half-court ideal for bigger kids, but they also pour some of Perth’s best coffee alongside exceptional brunch plates for all ages.

Okay, hear us out. Yes, Chu Bakery often has a line down the block, which is not the kinda thing you wanna deal with when you’re dragging kids along, but if you pop your order in the day before, you can swing past, pick up your baked goods and coffee, and head straight over to Hyde Park, where a playground and water play area awaits. All the baked goodness and lush park play, minus the wait time.
