This Easter, two Melbourne icons are serving up feel-good food for a great cause. LaManna & Son’s is baking up a storm with their iconic S’Mores Cookie Mix, donating 100% of proceeds from February 25th to April 17th to the Good Friday Appeal. Meanwhile, Hunky Dory is hooking Victorians on giving, donating $1 from every crispy potato cake sold from April 4th to 18th.

Since 2014, this initiative has raised over $212,000 for sick kids across Victoria—proof that Easter treats can do good, too.

Ascend to Altus Rooftop, located on top of Hotel Chadstone, to attend a stunning Mad Hatter’s High Tea during the Easter school holidays. Immerse yourself in the magic of Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland in this high tea inspired by the Mad Hatter’s tea party, and indulge in a mix of sweet and savoury creations that will send your taste buds down a rabbit hole and into a fantastical world. Funfields

Funfields Giant Easter Egg Hunt

Funfields is dialling up the Easter excitement before it closes its gates for its annual winter hibernation, with a lineup of holiday activities the whole family can get involved in. On ‘Easter Eve’, little detectives will take over the grounds of the theme park as they hunt down 50,000 chocolate eggs. Participants will be divided into age groups and be set loose to run amuck, collecting the Easter treats as they make their way around Funfields.

To give kids the best shot at finding as many eggs as possible, Funfields will be hosting its first-ever Easter Hunt Training event the week prior on the 7th April. Designed to be the ultimate warm-up, the Easter Hunt Training will help participants sharpen their skills before the main event. There will also be daily hunts for Easter-themed prizes in the lead up to the mega Easter egg hunt, with prizes including season passes, gift cards, food vouchers, merchandise, and more!

Tinkertown Opens at Scienceworks

An exciting new hands-on exhibition is opening at Scienceworks, right in time for the school holidays! Build, create and explore through hands-on activities, Kids (and grown-ups) can build, create and explore through a range of interactive activities designed to spark curiosity and inspire imaginations. Your journey will begin in The Workshop, where kids will need to put their thinking caps on and let creativity flow as they build innovative tools from loose materials. The sky’s the limit! Fed Square is turning up the fun this April with a fantastic line-up of free, inclusive events for the whole family! Running from 9th to 18th April, the program is packed with exciting activities, interactive workshops, and magical experiences. Studio Ghibli Mini Film Festival (14th to 17th April) – Step into a world of magic and wonder with a mini Studio Ghibli film festival! The Little Food Festival (9th to 10th April) – Kids will love Australia’s only food festival designed just for them! Play Date by All The Queens Men (15th to 17th April) – Get ready to groove at this interactive dance party!
