Winter in Melbourne may be brisk, but it’s anything but bleak. The season brings with it an irresistible kind of charm — the kind found in steaming mugs of spiced mulled wine, the flicker of fairy lights strung between stalls, and the joyful hunt for handmade treasures and hot chocolate (with marshmallows, naturally).

Whether you’re craving a warming bite, keen to score a unique gift, or simply want to soak up those only-in-Melbourne winter vibes, these markets are a reminder that winter might just be the city’s most romantic season. So layer up, bring your best market buddy, and prepare to fall under their spell.
