Barwon Park Mansion is making a grand occasion of market day. Part of Surf Coast Arts Festival 2026, Manor Made takes over the Winchelsea bluestone estate for one day only, filling the mansion, stables and grounds with up to 120 makers, artists and small-batch producers. Browse ceramics, jewellery, textiles, prints, woodwork, photography, homewares and regional food and drink, then step inside for Wayngurrla – To Make Good, a powerful exhibition by Wadawurrung artist Aunty Marlene Gilson OAM that reframes colonial history through a Wadawurrung lens. The stables will also host the Quiet Riot Small Works Art Prize, with finalists from across Australia. Heritage house, art prize, makers market, winter day trip: this one has range.

Fed Square becomes one of Melbourne’s most important winter meeting places for NAIDOC Week, as Koorie Heritage Trust brings its First Peoples Art and Design Market to the city’s wider NAIDOC in the City celebrations. Across the Main Square, more than 20 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists, designers and makers will share work spanning art, fashion, jewellery, homewares and design, with food, workshops and live music carrying the afternoon into something far bigger than a market browse.
