Spotify Wrapped Has Dropped And Sydney & Melbourne Are Celebrating Big
From celebrity stunts to personalised merch, Spotify is bringing Wrapped to life with pop-ups across both cities this week.
It’s officially one of the most anticipated days of the cultural calendar: Spotify Wrapped has landed, and feeds everywhere are exploding with top artists, embarrassing deep cuts, and chaotic listening habits. If dissecting your Wrapped hasn’t quite scratched the itch, Spotify is taking things offline with a series of fun pop-ups and activations across Sydney and Melbourne.
1. Become the “Fifth Member” at the 5SOS (Everyone’s A) Star Walk — Sydney
5 Seconds of Summer fans, this one’s for you. For one day only, World Square is hosting a full 5SOS Walk of Fame complete with the band’s real handprints—and a chance for fans to create their own star on the strip.
Flash your Spotify Wrapped proving 5SOS made your Top Artists and you’ll score an exclusive signed gift bag from the band. Anyone can also snap a photo of the star path to have it printed on a limited-edition key ring.

2. A Giant Sand Billboard Celebrating Don West — Sydney
Manly Beach will play host to a massive sand sculpture honouring rising Aussie soul star Don West, who’s seen a huge 344% surge in listeners this year. The installation pays tribute to the Northern Beaches’ legacy of producing major musical talent—from Midnight Oil to Ocean Alley.

3. Dance Music Takes to the Skies with DJ Cyril — Sydney
Dance music streams are up by a huge 409 million plays this year, and Spotify is celebrating in the most over-the-top way possible: with DJ Cyril performing from a helicopter. Look to the sky over some of Sydney’s most iconic beaches to catch the aerial stunt.

4. Wrapped Clubs With Personalised Keyrings — Sydney & Melbourne
Think you clocked more listening minutes than your mates? Prove it. Spotify’s Wrapped Clubs are giving out free personalised keyrings engraved with your total listening minutes—just show your Wrapped at the pop-up.
