Perth’s Best Oyster Deals & Nights for a Shucking Good Time
Oyster season is back and these deals make slurping down your fair share that much easier.
With some of the world’s best beaches on our doorstep, many of life’s rituals naturally unfold by the sea. We’re tied to its rhythms, enamoured by its beauty and very fond of the culinary delights hauled up from its depths each day. And come summer, fresh oysters — many of which are plucked and shucked right here in WA — take centre stage.
You’ll spot them on menus across the city, but for the best-value slurps you need to know where (and when) to look. Oyster clubs, cheeky sessions and weekly happy hours are popping up all over Perth, serving premium shells at wallet-friendly prices. Translation: more oysters, more often and zero spending regret. A habit we’re very willing to endorse.
Servo
Servo is quickly becoming a go-to for Perth’s shellfish superfans thanks to its weekly Oyster Club Sundays. Every Sunday from 12pm, you can tuck into freshly shucked oysters from just $2 each, paired with rotating martinis, pét-nats and other summer-friendly sips.
For those who operate exclusively in “more oysters, please” mode, keep an eye out for Servo’s bottomless oyster sessions. Two hours of unlimited oysters and cocktails is exactly as dangerous (and delightful) as it sounds. January’s first session just dropped, so move quickly if you want to book a seat.
If you prefer to see oysters shucked before your eyes, you’ll also want to pop Sunday 22 November in your diary. Tom (Shucks & Nibs) and Jerry ‘Oyster King’ Fraser will be at Servo from 3pm for an afternoon of live oyster shucking, featuring Leeuwin Coast’s Albany Rock Oysters.

Margot’s
Margot’s has made oyster hour a daily ritual, serving $1.50 freshly shucked oysters every day from 4pm to 6pm. Sit outside in the street front alfresco, add on banging charcuterie and top tier martinis, and you have the perfect girl dinner situation.

H&C Urban Winery
Sundays hit differently at H&C Urban Winery. Their plant-filled warehouse oasis pours $10 bloody marys and shucks half-price oysters every Sunday — ideal for easing out the weekend in the most delicious way possible. It’s spacious, laid-back and walk-ins are encouraged.

The Rechabite
Inside this multi-level playground, Double Rainbow serves a Friday deal that really makes the end of the week feel like a reward. Swing by after work for $2.50 oysters and $25 bottles of soju before heading up to the rooftop for sundown cocktails. Plus, on selected Fridays in November, Shucks & Nibs will be here shucking Albany Rock Oysters live from 5pm to 8pm.

Bertie, a cosy wine bar in Perth’s north-eastern ‘burbs with a soft spot for good drops and even better snacks, is very much a neighbourhood charmer. They have been known to serve up $2 oysters alongside daily happy hour specials throughout summer. But the real oyster aficionados will find their way to Oyster King Jerry Fraser’s monthly events, slinging freshly-shucked shells for $35 a dozen pre-booked (or $40 on the day). Si Paradiso’s sun-drenched, Amalfi-inspired courtyard is peak summer energy, and the perfect place to knock back a few shells. Every Sunday, they’re slinging fresh oysters for $3 a pop from midday until sold out, alongside $40 prosecco bottles and $28 steak frites.

Fins Seafood is the quiet achiever behind some of Perth’s best oyster programs, supplying top restaurants across the city. But their Bicton retail outlet and bar is where the real magic (and value) happens. Here, you can score seriously fresh oysters at prices that feel almost too good to be true. Dine-in shells will set you back just $36 for a dozen and $19 for half. Keep an eye on socials too, as they have been known to throw the odd oyster party with $2 shells served fresh all night.
