Luxe Australian Resorts Perfect for the Next Season of the White Lotus
Consider this our official application to bring season four Down Under, Mike White.

It’s the show on everyone’s lips (and on everyone’s TikTok feeds, and group chats…) and it’s easy to see why: The White Lotus is a certified phenomenon thanks to its mix of drama and intrigue, satire, dreamy outfits and stunning locations.
With season three well underway, we’re already thinking about what a fourth iteration of the dark comedy might look like—and that includes putting together a fantasy list of locales that would be a dream vacation destination for the Tanya McQuoids and Chelseas of the world.

While rumour has it season four will see the show make a return to Europe, there’s every chance our Aussie shores could make an well-deserved appearance. After all, our island home has all the makings of a perfect White Lotus mystery: secluded locations, warm weather, the best beaches in the world and some intriguing local wildlife that would put that season three cobra scene to shame (IYKYK).
Here are the luxe Aussie all-inclusive stays that we think are deserving of a spot in The White Lotus hall of fame.
(Bonus: they’re also great if you’re feeling a little inspired to take a luxury escape of your own a little closer to home once you’ve finished bingeing the show.)
The Luxury Aussie Resorts Perfect for The White Lotus

Lizard Island Resort, Great Barrier Reef
An exclusive island resort located on the Great Barrier Reef, Lizard Island Resort is what The White Lotus dreams are made of. With just 40 rooms and located within a national park, there are private beaches, day trips and some of the most stunning natural surroundings in the world to keep guests entertained.
The resort’s restaurant—Salt Water—offers 180-degree ocean views with a menu inspired by the freshest local produce, plus there’s a bar with a cocktail list that would make Jaclyn, Laurie and Kate proud.
Guests can enjoy snorkelling, diving, paddle boarding, kayaking, hiking, night tennis, morning beach yoga and more, and the on-site spa offers a range of unique treatments that Belinda would love.

El Questro Homestead, The Kimberley
Yes, we know The White Lotus typically favours coastal locales, but hear us out: a season based at this luxe spot in the heart of The Kimberley would be epic. With 700,000 acres of property to explore, there are deep gorges, majestic ranges, thermal springs, salt-flats, rainforests and cascading waterfalls on offer for those staying at El Questro in Western Australia.
A true bucket-list location, The Homestead is hidden amongst burnt-orange cliffs with lush, green lawns (just imagine those aerial shots, HBO!) and has just ten suites for a feeling of total privacy and exclusivity.
With a landscape this dramatic and jaw-dropping, the story practically writes itself.

Saffire Freycinet, Tasmania
Tassie may be a little chilly for Mike White’s tastes (the writer and producer has famously said he hates the cold), but hear us out: Saffire Freycinet’s combination of luxury accommodations and stunning natural backdrops are just the thing The White Lotus needs.
With 20 luxury suites, a luxury day spa and unforgettable culinary offerings, guests also get exclusive access to some of Tasmania’s stunning natural wonders as well as activities and day trips like beekeeping experiences, oyster farming, a Tasmanian Devil tour and vineyard visits.

Longitude 131°, Northern Territory
Yes, this is camping—but it’s camping at its most exclusive and most luxurious. Each tent at Longitude 131° features floor to ceiling glass embracing unparalleled views of Uluru, as well as private balconies (complete with daybed), ensuites with rain showers and cosy fireplaces for when the sun sets.
Offering essential outback experiences like sunset selfies with Uluru while sipping on drinks from a private pop up bar, walks through the stunning Field of Light installation, outdoor dining experiences under the stars with a thoroughly Aussie menu and matching wines as well as day trips and guided expeditions to nearby gorges and waterholes, there’s plenty to keep guests entertained.

Qualia, Hamilton Island
Australian luxury resorts don’t get much more iconic than Qualia, so of course, this makes our list of dream White Lotus destinations.
This Hamilton Island oasis is the starting point for adventures to icons of the region—like Whitehaven Beach and the Great Barrier Reef—plus with a private helipad and marina guests can arrive in style in episode one.
Pavilions are spacious and private, situated within the natural Australian bushland with incredible island and ocean views, with some having private plunge pools.

Bamurru Plains, Northern Territory
We have one word for you, White Lotus fans: crocodiles. Bamurru Plains is an all-inclusive safari camp located in the Northern Territory’s Top End, and just happens to be located within the home of one of the largest crocodile populations in the world.
With spacious safari bungalows made for two with king beds, private ensuites and cooling fans, curated native-inspired dining experiences, and exploring options like helicopter safaris, airboat river cruises and guided walks searching for brumbies, each episode promises to be jam-packed with adventure (and crocs).
