Brisbane Festival 2025
Brisbane Festival returns, and we’re ever so ready for it! Celebrating the lifestyle, persona and energy of our river city, these highly anticipated events bring an enormous calendar of performance, art and culture back to our doorsteps.
From light shows to renowned artist performances and incredible installations, this is the best time of year to explore the growing pace of Brisbane’s arts and cultural scene. With some of the Festival’s installations beginning from August, the program will be in full swing from September 1st, and we recommend booking tickets now to prevent any disappointment, as events will sell out fast!

Congratulations – Get Rich!
Set in a Singaporean karaoke bar, Congratulations, Get Rich! is an explosive tale of family, fate and ghosts. Making its world premiere this September at La Boite, you can follow the story of karaoke bar owner Mandy as she grapples with her failing business and throws a reunion mega-event as a last-ditch attempt to save her bar.
When Mandy’s mother walks in the door, things take an unexpected turn (seeing as she died over two decades ago). Arriving with another mystery woman, Mandy’s met with more questions than answers: who is the other woman? What do they want? Why are they here?

The Carnival of Flowers showcases incredible floral displays, garden tours, live music and of course the grand parade. Introducing four new events this year, including the Floral Friday, the elegant Lawn Party, foodie favourite FEASTival, and the indulgent Weekend Table, this year is shaping up to be the best one yet!

Afterglow
The Brisbane Botanic Gardens will be transformed for Brisbane Festival 2025, with an immersive audiovisual show by the name of Afterglow.
Presented by Sony Entertainment (the same team behind Lightscape), you can expect flicking fire sculptures, candlelit installations, immersive soundscapes and live performances.
This riverside stroll would make the perfect date night outing, catching up with your pals, or a contemplative solo stroll.

If you’re trying to divert your social hour from happy hour, TotalFusion have just launched the perfect event! Bathhouse & Beats is your new favourite way to wind down as the week draws to a close.
Each fortnight, you can elevate your Friday night with the perfect blend of recovery and rhythm. Move between hot and cold pools, infrared saunas, traditional saunas and steam rooms, before reclining on a daybed with a cocktail or a refreshing tonic from the bar, along with the full food menu.
