Whether you’re a serious runner, walking it, or meeting your mates at the finish line, the City2Surf is one of Sydney’s most exciting events.

Held every August, the 14-kilometre fun run from the city to Bondi Beach not only raises money for charities (to date, the event has raised over $55 million for charities in need) but transforms our harbour city into the ultimate party destination.

In our humble opinion, the post-run festivities are just as important as the main event. But with thousands of people streaming into Bondi, booking ahead (for the venues that cater for it) is much wiser. Many also have a first-in-best-dressed policy. If you’re heading to Bondi purely for the vibes, we recommend arriving at your preferred venue by 11 a.m. to beat the crowds.

This year, City2Surf will be held on Sunday, August 11th, and Bondi and the surrounding suburbs will host several epic after-parties. Here’s our edit of the best 2025 City2Surf after-parties. Pack your running shoes… and your dancing shoes!

The Best 2025 City2Surf After-Parties

AFTERGLOW by P.E Nation at Glory Days

Stylish sprints deserve stylish recovery, and P.E Nation is delivering just that with AFTERGLOW — a next-level post-race party-meets-wellness hangout taking over Bondi Pavilion’s Glory Days. From 8:30am to 1:30pm, this elevated recovery experience is all about smooth beats, skin hydration, and a well-earned sip (or smoothie).

There’ll be DJ sets, volcanic alkaline water, elixirs from WelleCo, and Dermalogica skin stations to bring you back to life — plus limited-edition P.E Nation merch to keep things fresh and fashion-forward.

And the best part? It’s open to everyone, from seasoned runners to enthusiastic sideline supporters. Plus, 500 guests will receive an exclusive, limited-edition P.E Nation AFTERGLOW T-shirt, while another 1,000 racegoers will be able to get their hands on a P.E Nation foil blanket.

Race hard, recover harder.

The Recovery at Beach Road x PILLAR Performance

PILLAR Performance, teamed with 98 Gym and Pace Athletic, is transforming the corner of Gould Street & Beach Road into ‘The Recovery’: Bondi’s unofficial, no-tickets-needed post-race street party.

From 9am, drop by for a high-energy DJ vibe and a free recovery menu. Think Triple Magnesium Spritz, Collagen Coffees, grass-fed whey protein ice cream, ultra-immunity elixirs — and yes, freshly baked croissants. It’s fuel for your body, fun for your spirit, and all set against Bondi’s electric after-race buzz.

They’re also hosting an exclusive athlete hangout at nearby Will & Co for 120 guests, featuring Olympic sprinters, marathon champs, and AFL royalty. Whether you need a strong finish — or just a strong start to your Sunday — The Recovery is your go-to recharge station.

Spritzes & Samples at Blackwood Bondi with TBH Skincare

If your post-race plans involve a little less running and a little more relaxing, swing by Blackwood Bondi for a very refreshing reward. This Sunday, tbh Skincare is teaming up with the Bondi café to hand out free Aperol Spritzes along with non-alc options and free samples of their cult Body Spritz.

There’ll be a DJ on deck from 10am to keep the energy high, and the vibes are set to be golden-hour good. Whether you sprinted, jogged or just came to cheer, this spritz sesh is a deliciously fun way to keep the good times flowing all afternoon.

87-89 Glenayr Avenue, Bondi Beach

Refuel with Ice Cream at Messina x New Balance

Free gelato at the finish line? Don’t mind if we do. To celebrate Sydney’s biggest running weekend, New Balance is teaming up with local faves Gelato Messina and Unofficial Run Club to dish out 2,000 free scoops of custom-made gelato in Bondi — just the thing to refuel after conquering heartbreak hill (or cheering from the sidelines).

Happening from 10am at Messina Bondi, runners and spectators alike can claim a scoop of two limited-edition flavours inspired by the new FuelCell Rebel v5 kicks. The line-up? A nostalgic Choc Malt & Nougat swirl, and a silky Matcha Dulce with ribbons of dulce de leche. It’s a post-race party where the vibes are high, and the ice cream is — very literally — on the house.

Sunday 10 August, from 10am

Bondi’s best DJs will keep the tempo high, so whether you’re shaking off Heartbreak Hill or you’re party‑ready after cheering on your mates, come prepared to two‑step in your trainers.

Returning bigger, bolder and earlier than ever, City2Sheaf kicks off from a sprightly 8am — because post-race revelry waits for no one.

Whether you’re repping your run club, tagging along with mates, or just here for the vibes, The Sheaf has you sorted. Expect an all-day fiesta of DJ-fuelled beats, tasty recovery eats, ice-cold drinks, plus free massages courtesy of the heavenly hands at 3 Minute Angels.

From sun-up to long after the medals are handed out, the courtyard and rooftop will be pumping. Even better? Free shuttle buses are running between Bondi and the venue (first in, best dressed). Bookings are open for early birds between 10am and 12pm, but most of the venue is walk-in friendly — just bring your sneakers and your celebratory spirit.
