Thinkers, authors and all-round wonderful women, from Australia and abroad, will be descending on the Opera House for a day of thought-provoking talks. Set in the Bridgeview Room overlooking the Nepean River, this inspiring afternoon brings together influential women across sport, sustainability, tourism and culture for thoughtful conversation over a buffet by hatted sister venue Sinclair’s. At $70 per person, it’s a riverside celebration of leadership and legacy that goes well beyond the day itself.

Ahead of International Women’s Day, Summer Hill’s Apéritif & Co. is raising a glass to the women reshaping the wine world. The women-owned venue has launched Meet The Maker: Her Edition which is a rotating spotlight on 15 exceptional female winemakers from Australia and beyond.
Expect bold pours like Tash Webster’s unapologetically titled ‘Fuck The Patriarchy’ Pinot Noir from Geelong, alongside icons such as Donnafugata’s Ben Ryé Passito from Sicily. With curated food pairings, guided flights and intimate storytelling (plus an in-venue appearance from Webster herself), this is one we can raise a glass to.

Raise A Glass At voco Gosford’s IWD Brunch
voco Gosford knows what the girls want, which is why it’s hosting a lively, bottomless brunch celebration on March 7th from 12pm–3pm. Set in the light-filled Saltfire, Girls Just Wanna Brunch is a three-hour feast featuring shared-style dishes like burrata with Sicilian caponata, lobster rolls, squid churros, and more, paired with free-flowing drinks and a live DJ.

Celebrate Women in Wine at Chiswick
Chiswick is transforming its garden lawns into a female-led wine wonderland on Saturday March 7th. Guests will have the opportunity to taste and meet trailblazing women winemakers from Australia and around the world, while enjoying live acoustic music, a St‑Germain Spritz Bar, and seasonal bites by Sous Chef Naomi Xavier.
Curated by Master of Wine Annette Lacey alongside sommeliers Mimi Mrazakova and Vicki Lou Peng, the Wine Market celebrates female leadership in wine. It’s the perfect way to raise a glass, discover a new favourite and celebrate women making their mark on the industry.
Entry is $10 and includes a Chiswick Wine Market Glass for sampling. $5 from every ticket is donated to social enterprise Two Good Co.
