From the moment this Alexandria warehouse threw open it’s doors it has seen an unceasing stream of devoted patrons as keen to snap the perfect Instagram as they are to let loose on the wholesome, everchanging menu. Cold-pressed juices, single-origin brews and a plethora of fine teas will quench your thirst and rest assured that their spiced banana bread and caramelised lemony banana pancakes are on hand for the sweet-toothed among us.

Two Chaps

Hidden away in a garage, Two Chaps offers excellent coffee and a sustainability-focussed menu. At this Marrickville hotspot, almost everything on the menu is made from scratch, and if it isn’t, it’s sourced from local growers. Bikes are mounted on the exposed brick walls as one of the owners, once built bikes for Deus Ex Machina. Three nights a week the eatery opens for a rotating dinner menu, and you can expect it to be driven by the freshest seasonal produce available.
