Rundle Mall

The outdoor shopping precinct of Rundle Mall is well-known by everyone as a premium shopping destination, and on weekends it feels like the beating heart of the city. Tourists flock here to get their shopping done, friends use it as a meeting spot, uni students pass through on their lunch breaks, and locals duck down when they need to grab a few things. A lively hub, there is always a bit of action down here, including pop up installations and entertaining buskers and performers. You will find H&M, Haigh’s Chocolate, a newly opened Dymocks bookstore, Mecca, Cotton On, Nike, Lululemon, Adidas and specialty stores.

There are places to eat and drink, plus Rundle Place with even more stores, and the historic and charming Adelaide Arcade running off the side, filled with quaint stores and bakeries like Adelaide Vintage, Gallery 33, Zacary Patisserie and Cielo. Out of Rundle Mall (but still on Rundle Street) you will run into Australian designer stores Zimmermann, Aje and Viktoria and Woods. District Outlet Centre and Harbourtown

There’s no denying that a lot of us are feeling the pinch of the ever-growing and not-so-cute cost of living, but that shouldn’t mean we can’t still look cute, right? Lucky for you, Adelaide is home to the old faithful Harbourtown and the newly opened District Outlet Centre. Both are filled to the brim with the stores we know and love like Hype DC, New Balance, Adairs and Calvin Klein, with majority of the sale stock being 30-70% off the RRP. Not for the faint-hearted, these centres are packed at the weekends with eager shoppers trying to bag a great deal, so we recommend a weekday visit if you can manage!
