Home to over 80 vendors, browse the aisles for meat, dairy, flowers, baked goods, and health foods. If you need something with a little more sustenance, stop in at a bar or restaurant and fuel up on a delicious feast or refreshing bevvy. Our pick of the bunch? The Market Shed on Holland

The Market Shed On Holland

Mekko Market and Café

Mekko Market and Café

Sustainable fashion and good food can be found at Mekko Market, which is best described as an in-person Facebook Marketplace. Mekko Market allows sellers to ‘Rent a Rack’ for a period of time to sell their pre-loved clothing and accessories. Holding mostly womenswear, there is often a selection of childrens-wear and menswear to scour through too - so round up the whole family for a shopping adventure, pronto. When you’re done shopping up a storm, the cosy café is on standby with freshly brewed beans and a tasty selection of breakfast and lunch dishes, perfect for that much needed post-spend refuel.

Closed Tuesdays

89 Prospect Road, Prospect

Monday Market

Monday Market

Sister to Mekko, Monday Market is a smaller branch of the same ‘Rent a Rack’ concept, found on the buzzing Parade in Norwood. Grab a coffee from a local café nearby before making your way through the dozens of racks to bag yourself a bargain. Not only is second-hand shopping great for the bank account, it’s even better for the environment - keeping clothes out of landfill and giving them a second chance at a fashionable life. If you’ve got some clothes to sell this is a great option for you to clear out the wardrobe – you only need to pay for your rack and get to keep 100% of the profits. Talk about a win win!
