The most anticipated event in Adelaide's festival calendar is upon us! The one and only Adelaide Fringe Festival 2025 is back, and - after excitedly checking out the recently released guide - we're happy to report you can once again expect a jam-packed month of amazing art, theatre, comedy, music, workshops, magic and interactive immersion from February 21st to March 23rd.
There's no better time to head into the CBD and discover the most exciting things to do in the city, exploring the laneways of Leigh Street, Peel Street and East End as bars and restaurants spill onto the streets. Soak up the buzzy atmosphere and enjoy a drink and a bite before heading into the epicentre of Fringe at Gluttony and the Garden of Unearthly Delights.

REPUTATION: The Ultimate Taylor Swift Show
Calling all Swifties! We know the Eras Tour has wrapped up (devastating), but that doesn't mean you can't get your Tay-Tay fix elsewhere. Sibling duo Ella and Sienna and their 5-piece band are taking the stage at Arkaba Hotel for an epic show, REPUTATION, covering 38 of the biggest hits from every era from the iconic pop star.
Selling out every show since their 2023 debut and only in town for two shows, you'll want to book your tickets for this one, ASAP!

Sip and Saaaaang with the Gospo Collective
Following sellout stellar shows in previous years, the incredibly talented GOSPO Collective is once again gracing the Fringe Festival, this time with an interactive show at Arkaba Hotel, where the audience is invited to join in the gospel harmonies
With two shows to choose from, pick between timeless hits from The Beatles, Whitney Houston and Earth, Wind & Fire in LOVE, or for an upbeat pop party, PEOPLE will have you belting out the best hits from Justin Timberlake, Michael Jackson and John Farnham.

Thunderstruck: A Night of Classic Rock
Be the first to experience the world premiere of Thunderstruck: A Night of Classic Rock, where the rising star of contemporary dance, Lewis Major, joins forces with Blue Violin, the dynamic founder of the Boston String Quartet and genre-bending violin virtuoso. In a stunning candlelit setting (500 candles, in fact), dancers flow seamlessly to a soundtrack of reimagined rock anthems, classical favourites, and power ballads - all performed live with dazzling violin loops. You'll be hooked from the get-go.

Tash York: Chaos Cabaret
In a show that is entertaining, hilarious and full of surprises, may we recommend booking a ticket to Tash York: Chaos Cabaret?
Tash York - a mid-30 Cabaret performer, drag queen and MC - is bringing the fun with an improvised game show, hosting Fringe favourites for rounds of games, surprise interruptions and audience interaction. You'll have no idea what to expect next, and your vote will control the game as you go! Guaranteed to be like nothing you've seen before, this is a top pick for the 2025 lineup.

Skinny
A deep soul cabaret pushing against a world of shapewear and skinny shakes, Skinny is all about looking in the mirror and loving what we see. Michelle Pearson combines pop hits, brilliant comedy and power ballads to delight and inspire the audience to embrace the often-rejected concept of knowing you are enough as you are. Powerful, entertaining, and highly recommended.

Sink or SING!
Serving a whole heap of main character energy, Amelie Peters and her band are bringing an interactive singing party to Gluttony with Sink or SING! If you love singing to your favourite songs in the bathroom, the car and all around town, you're invited to join the fun, as Amelie spills the beans on her life adventures and vocal secrets in this tell-all show. Get your vocal cords ready!

Adelaide Fringe Festival 2025: Circus & Magic
Infamous
Experience the ultimate circus extravaganza as Infamous returns to the Adelaide Fringe Festival for its risqué R18+ adult cirque, held in its custom-built Spiegel Big Top at Ellis Park.
Director Michelle Jarman promises a thrilling experience with over 20 cast members, jaw-dropping acts like the Wheel of Death and a flying trapeze to shock and delight every night throughout the month-long festival.

Rogue
If you’re after circus mixed with a little naughtiness, book Fringe Festival favourite Rouge for its final Fringe season. After 8 spicy years, Rogue will bring one more epic series to Adelaide, in a raw, raucous and loose show – and that’s just the audience.
The Rogue team of artists will mix it up each week, joined by past performers for a series of acts that are surprising, sexy and oh-so-outrageous. Adults only!

Primal
Unleash your wild side with Primal, the bold new circus extravaganza from the creators of Rogue. This cheeky, adults-only show sees Australia's best circus and cabaret performers take to the stage for acrobatics, burlesque, fire and aerial artistry that will have you holding your breath.
Inspired by the raw energy of the animal kingdom, Primal explores the complexities of human connection, identity, sexuality and perception. Enjoy cheeky twists and unbelievable acts!

INVISIBLE
Are you feeling brave? Enter a DARKFIELD shipping container of complete darkness and immerse yourself in 360-degree sound as The Invisible Man lets you in on secrets to disappear. In a communal experience, your senses will be heightened in INVISIBLE, as you dive deeper into what it means to be present in the world.
Not suitable for those with heart conditions, no late entry is permitted.

Courier
A one-man show filled with imagination and dark humour, Courier tells the story of a Deliveroo cyclist with an impossible delivery. Performed by one of the most talked about artists from Edinburgh's 2024 Fringe Festival - Piers MacKenzie - where he took on the role of Daniel Radcliffe in TERF, you will have to purchase a ticket to see just how far he goes to achieve the impossible with his bike and a backpack.

Confetti and Chaos
It's potentially one of the worst (yet most memorable) wedding receptions you'll attend - and everyone is invited to Confetti and Chaos! This comedy rocked the Adelaide Fringe with its debut in 2024, returning with its hilarious 2-hour comedy show, complete with a 3-course meal.
Not for the faint-hearted, this immersive experience will have you in stitches of laughter, as the chaos of a surprise party unfolds around you and you try to keep up with secrets and sass!

Adelaide Fringe Festival: Comedy
Pete Rowsthorn - Keen
Kimmy, look at moi. Best known as Brett from one of Australia's most iconic shows - Kath & Kim - Pete Rosthorn is bringing his comedy back to the festival circuit for the first time in decades. Coming off the back of a stint of world travel with his daughter Frankie for The Amazing Race, Celebrity Edition, expect a barrel of laughs as Pete talks about his life and aging... ungraciously.

Sh!t-faced Shakespeare – A Midsummer Night's Dream
What do you get if you take some boozed-up Brits and one of the most loved stories of all time? Sh!t-faced Shakespeare – A Midsummer Night's Dream is the hilarious smash-hit show performed by a troop of professional actors… but one of them is drunk.
With a rotating inebriated cast member each night, expect the unexpected with this raucous, riotous rampage that we aren't entirely sure Shakespeare would approve of.

Amy Hetherington: BYO Baby
No mums or bubs should miss out on the fun of Fringe, and Amy Hetherington: BYO Baby is proof! Hailing from Darwin, Amy presents a hilarious hour of real-life chats about sleep deprivation, unwarranted advice from strangers and crying about it all. The best part? Your bub is welcome to join, with no amount of fuss enough to get you kicked out of this comedy creche!

Adelaide Fringe Festival: Interactive & Experience
Party on the Popeye
Back by popular demand, all aboard the iconic Popeye boat as Glitter Boat – Party on the Popeye sets sail along the Torrens River, with DJaydrian and friends setting the vibe with disco tunes and pop hits. Throw on some glitter, sip on your favourite local beverages, and dance your heart out aboard the Popeye
For something a little more low-key, join Kangaroo Island Spirits for a tasting and aboard the Popeye, trying three of the distillery's smooth gins with paired bites, all while enjoying the sites during the leisurely cruise.

Flight/Séance
Are you brave enough to enter one of the mysterious containers in The Garden? DARKFIELD returns with two sensory experiences, each hosted inside a 40ft shipping container where you’re plunged into complete darkness and rely on the rich multi-sensory narrative, your imagination and senses to drive your experience.
Seance explores the psychology of suggestion, superstition and vulnerability, and Flight explores the world of quantum mechanics, mixing two worlds, two realities and two outcomes.

Dream State
The Dream State audiovisual experience will pull you through the subconscious into a surreal universe, where the boundaries of meaning and interpretation are blurred. Expect to let your imagination run wild and your perception be tested as you make your way through rooms that morph and abstract as you go, mimicking dissolving thoughts and dreams.

Gluttony
Popping up annually in Adelaide’s east parklands, South Australian-owned and operated Fringe hub Gluttony has cultivated a reputation as a feast for the senses for lovers of the arts, food and wine.
Thousands of artists have passed under Gluttony’s Art Deco-styled façade to perform on its stages since its 2011 start-up, from local up-and-comers to national TV stars to globally renowned acts.
Expect an overall festival experience at Gluttony, with delicious food vendors and welcoming bars made to complement the show. It's also a relaxed and inclusive vibe - you can't ask for much more! Well, actually... there's no need to raid the piggy bank to come in; entry is free!
