Sister Act: The Musical
It’s the closing weekend of the must-see musical lighting up Adelaide’s Festival Centre with pure joy, infectious energy and a seriously impressive cast. Starring Casey Donovan, Genevieve Lemon, and Rhonda Burchmore, Sister Act is the brilliant musical adaptation of the iconic, globally successful 1992 film starring Whoopi Goldberg. Following the story of Deloris Van Cartier (played by Donovan) as she is made to act as a nun in a witness protection program, the story is given a new spin with a Motown-inspired soundtrack by Tony® and Oscar®-winner Alan Menken.
