Adelaide Symphony Orchestra

Adelaide Symphony Orchestra - She Speaks

She Speaks by the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra celebrates a diverse array of female musical voices and composers. Co-curated by Anne Cawrse and Belinda Gehlert, these unique four shows unfold over both afternoons and nighttime, starting off with 'Unearth,' which is a mesmerising lunchtime performance by the Australian String Quartet and Noriko Tadano on the shamisen. The final performance, 'Discover,' will feature the whole of the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra as they delight audiences with songs written by female composers, both Australian and international. It's an immersive event you won't want to miss.

Caberet Fringe Festival

Caberet Fringe Festival

The Caberet Fringe Festival is back in 2024 as Adelaide enters its winter festival season. There is to be over 100 performances across 10 jam-packed nights, so clear your schedule! There are both frtee pop-up street performances and paid events, with every ticket sold helping to support independent artists and venues across the city.

UnWined

The National Wine Centre is kicking off your weekend the right way - with acoustic tunes and good quality wine. From 4pm to 7pm. enjoy a line up of Austarlian wines from their wine bar and unwind in style as you embrace the calming yet vibrant atmosphere. Running every Friday, you'll likely be back on more than  one occasion.

South Australia's History Festival

South Australia's History Festival

South Australia's History Festival is back! The theme for this month-long festival is 'Power,' and multiple events and activities throughout the city will explore exactly what that means in relation to South Australia. There are reflections on the church, exhibitions, conservations about First Nations' history, film screenings, and so much more. If you're looking for an educational thing or two to do in Adelaide this month, the History Festival offers plenty!

TINA - The Tina Turner Musical

TINA - The Tina Turner Musical will be at Adelaide's Festival Theatre from April 24th until the end of May, and it's a performance you won't want to miss. Filled with lively action, an iconic range of Tina Turner's iconic songs including Simply the Best, Proud Mary and River Deep – Mountain High, amazing singing and impressive dancing, you'll have a blast.

Book Your Ticket to This Immersive Raclette Igloo Experience

After sell-out events in Canberra, Melbourne and Sydney last year, the viral Raclette Igloo Experience is coming to Adelaide for the first time next month - and tickets are sure to sell out fast! Adelaide's Festival Plaza will be transformed into a French Alpine village, complete with luxury igloos, falling snow, fire pits and fairy lights. Feast on up to two kilos of rich, creamy, melted Raclette cheese (complete with an exquisite selection of cured meats, boiled potatoes, pickled onions and cornichons) while nestled inside a cosy igloo - and don't forget there'll be a glass of mulled wine to match.

20 Years of Australian Geographic Nature Photographer of the Year

The Australian Geographic Nature Photographer of the Year awards have been around for 20 years now, and you can head to the South Australian Museum to celebrate! This museum has produced the exhibition and competition since 2009, and it's grown increasingly popular since then, and is now recognised on the international photography scene. This particular edition of the exhibition features all of the winning photographs from the past 20 years, and it's not one that you'll want to miss.

Patritti's Cellar II 

Patritti's is hosting Fridays and Sundays at their Cellar II, and both days are filled with delightful wines, food and entertainment. On Fridays, there's an abundance of rotating food trucks for you to pick your street food dinner vibe, as well as live music from local artists for you to enjoy while you sip on Patritti's selection of wines. The same goes for Sunday - it's the perfect end-of-week reset that you need before starting it all over again. Who knows, you may even be back for round two the weekend after!
