This light-filled, friendly spot is one of our all time favourites, for the fluffiest diner-style and seasonal buttermilk hotcakes, the creamiest coffee and some of the best eggs in town. The poached eggs with hollandaise, pickled zucchini and thick-cut sourdough are undeniable, as are the Korean sambal scramble. Add a side of fried chicken to anything and you really can't go wrong here.

Satchmo Café

You can almost hear distinct New York accents in the distance when ordering off the Jewish menu at Satchmo Café.
