1520
G-Flip checked into Crown Towers when visiting Perth this March as part of their Dream Ride tour, and went on to celebrate the final show with friends and family at one of Crown Perth’s newest venues, 1520.
The brand-new speakeasy bar, hidden inside Crown Perth’s new Urban Food District, opened softly in mid-Feb (and kept things very hush hush) — making G-Flip and their crew some of the first to get inside. Only accessible with a secret passcode, the cool, underground bar is a love letter to old school hip hop, complete with vinyl turntable decks, a bold hip hop-inspired cocktail list and nostalgic décor that invites you to lean in and make a night of it.
Of course, this wasn’t the first time G-Flip stayed at Crown. In December 2025, the Aussie artist traded LA for WA, bringing some of her best friends together at the Burswood resort before a quick trip down to Margaret River. Clips of Crown Perth’s stunning Swan River views were shown across G-Flip’s socials as part of a cute reel recapping their trip, with a caption that read, “Thanks @crownperth for putting us up for a few nights when I was back home”.
Tigerfish
Keeping on the G-Flip train, the star was also spotted wining and dining at Tigerfish with mates when visiting in December 2025. With its striking pink and red interiors, the new Cottesloe restaurant is unmistakable, despite only appearing for a split second in G-Flip’s highlight reel. Known for its fiery Southeast Asian-inspired menu and creative cocktail offering, the venue also has a secret karaoke room — we hope G-Flip and her crew put it to good use!
The Beach Bus
Addison Rae soaked up plenty of sunshine while visiting WA for Wildlands Festival in November 2025. The pop stunner was seen frolicking around beaches on Rottnest and Cottesloe during her stay. Along the way, she made a much-needed pit stop at The Beach Bus (located at Mosman Park beach) for one of their famous almond butter-topped acai bowls while enjoying a day on the sand.
Gibney
Clearly a man with a taste for the finer things, Drake pulled into Perth’s swankiest seaside brasserie, Gibney, not once but twice during his short stint in Perth in February 2025. On his first visit, the Canadian superstar posted a picture to his Instagram Stories of Gibney’s famous (and well-stocked) bar cart shimmering in the Perth sunshine in front of a sublime view over the Indian Ocean with text that read “Perth…who’s more hype me or you?” On his second visit, he was captured sitting at the bar chatting to awarded Perth bartender James Gentile for hours while knocking back plates of fresh seafood and top-shelf cocktails. And you know what, who could blame him?
Flora & Fauna
When touring Australia with Blink 182 in February 2024, Travis Barker and his entourage turned to local vegan fave Flora & Fauna for a wholesome pre-show fuel-up. Reportedly, the Thai Soul Bowl went down a treat — peanut sauce on a bed of rice noodles, greens, fresh veggies, crushed peanuts, fresh chilli and tofu.
Nobu
Of course, anything within the walls of Crown Perth is ripe for star-spotting. For many celebs, one of Crown Perth’s signature private suites is their accommodation of choice. As for where they’re eating… well, Ed Sheeran has been known to go for the private dining room at global Japanese sensation, Nobu. Not one to draw attention, the restaurant allows the star to slip from his room to dinner without much of a fuss. The venue’s premium sushi offering doesn’t hurt either!
The Shorehouse
When pop stars Dua Lipa and Troye Sivan caught up in Perth ahead of Dua Lipa’s Future Nostalgia show at RAC Arena in November 2022, the pair chose George Kailis’ long-standing Cottesloe dining spot, The Shorehouse. Set above the dunes with views out over the Indian Ocean, The Shorehouse’s seaside deck is the perfect example of Perth at its best. Throw on one of the state’s finest wine lists and food that never misses, and it’s no wonder Perth-born Troye chose to show Dua this gorgeous spot.
The coastal gem is also a favourite of actress Kate Walsh (known for her roles in Grey’s Anatomy and Emily In Paris), who has called Perth home for years now.
Vin Populi
When we caught up with accessories queen Poppy Lissiman, the Fremantle local told us Vin Populi was her favourite Italian restaurant in Perth. “I’m there at least a few times a week,” she exclaimed. Poppy went on to say it’s all because of the venue’s “epic wine list and even better service and vibe.”
Balthazar
Nigella Lawson went on a whirlwind tour of Perth’s best when visiting in March 2024. And thankfully, she documented and shared each and every delicious stop. Balthazar was the first restaurant she visited, which coincidentally has her last name etched above the restaurant door in the building’s stone walls (seems fitting, right?). Here she said she went for a “big, fat, gorgeous tangle of seafood spaghetti with some beautiful Cullen Wines Grace Madeline Sauvignon Semillon Blend”.
Indigo Oscar
Continuing Nigella’s food tour of Perth, the food star then traded moody CBD dining for Latin-inspired plates by the water at Indigo Oscar. With its dining hall located within the iconic Indiana Teahouse building overlooking Cottesloe Beach, there are few places as iconic to go for a long lunch or sunset drink in Perth. On the experience, Nigella said: “The food just zings! Kicked off with some exquisitely tangy raw beef tostadas and creamy crab arepas … Then perfectly roasted chicken with Aji Verde, green salad with cucumber in a mint vinaigrette, plus chips and spicy mayo, all eaten joyfully while watching the sun set.”
Lulu La Delizia
Rounding out Nigella Lawson’s Perth food favourites, we have Lulu La Delizia. Headed up by renowned ‘Prince of Pasta’ Joel Valvasori, the charming Subiaco haunt is widely regarded as Perth’s best Italian restaurant, and from the sound of it, Nigella agrees. The star took ex-Masterchef judge Matt Preston’s advice and went all in on a six-course shared banquet curated by Head Chef James Higgs. Sharing on Instagram, Nigella’s highlights included “a fabulous Carpaccio with pickled Hen of the Woods mushrooms and smoked mushroom salt; utterly exquisite Shark’s Bay scallops with smoked tomato butter; immensely pleasing tagliatelle with capon ragù; … and orecchiette with North West king prawns, baby zucchini/courgettes and chilli”.
