It’s that time of year again! In partnership with American Express, Vogue are ready to launch their annual sartorial event once again in Melbourne. The fashion and retail industry’s biggest night out of the year is back and bolder than ever, with Vogue American Express Fashion’s Night Out bringing the fun and glamour for one night only, after two years of virtual events.

Vogue American Express Fashion’s Night Out’s epic festival will celebrate the best in shopping, fashion, and beauty with over 600 retailers getting involved in the festivities and an enviable line-up of activations you’ll want to add to your calendar. Over and above the fun and glamour of this popular annual event, American Express and Vogue are coming together to support Australian fashion brands by driving consumers into our CBD stores to shop up a storm. Featuring exclusive shopping offers and masterclasses, this iconic fashion festival boasts a series of incentives and activations to help you on your shopping journey.

To sweeten the fashion deal and help you refresh your wardrobe for summer, American Express have an exclusive Card Member offer for Vogue American Express Fashion’s Night Out. Eligible American Express Card Members who save the offer to their card and spend $50 or more at participating Vogue American Express Fashion’s Night Out retailers, will get $10 back, up to two times. Vogue American Express Fashion’s Night Out: CBD Takeover

Fashion is all about making a statement and that’s exactly what Vogue American Express Fashion Night Out will be doing on Friday 14th October. For one night – and one night only! – the Melbourne CBD will come alive with pumping tunes, flashing lights and fantastic fashion. In collaboration with the City of Melbourne and coinciding with Melbourne Fashion Week, this free event will stretch from Little Bourke Street to Collins Street, through to the neighbouring Bourke Street Mall and other CBD retail centres. From 10am, the in-store shopping offers begin, and from 12pm to 9pm, you’ll be treated to incredible activations, sales and special deals from some of our favourite brands (hello, Go-To skincare samples), epic launch moments at 12pm and 5pm, pop-up runways, a special live performance by KYE, Q&As and more .

Vogue American Express Fashion’s Night Out: On-Stage

From midday on Friday 14^th October, head into the heart of the Melbourne CBD for the official campaign launch, where some of fashion’s biggest names will be taking to the stage to celebrate the launch of fashion’s boldest event, with live performances, fashion and styling Q&As, as well as beauty masterclasses and seminars, which will help to answer all your questions about the latest looks. You can join Vogue Australia editor-in-chief Edwina McCann and the Lord Mayor of Melbourne Sally Capp for the official opening in Emporium Melbourne at 12pm. We’re also very excited to see KYE perform live, followed by a 90's tune-infused set from DJ Emerald at the Vogue Stage in the Emporium, and the 6pm M/FW Emporium runway. 

Vogue American Express Fashion’s Night Out: Amex Pop-Up Info Hub 

While you’re in the Emporium, make sure to visit the AMEX Kiosk, where you can take a picture at their ‘photo moment’ wall  and learn more about specific in-store activations and Card Member offers.

From 12pm, you can even make your way to QV Melbourne and take a break at the Vogue pop-up, where you can enjoy a sweet treat on them. 

Vogue American Express Fashion’s Night Out: In-Store

Ready for the ultimate spree? For one-night you are invited to shop like a VIP with deals at over 600 participating retailers including some of our favourite brands like Myer and P.E Nation. Pick up the latest beauty products from Sephora, a party dress from Zara or L’Idée Woman or suiting from Camilla and Marc, Country Road and Maje.

As if we needed another reason to shop, there will be plenty of activations to help elevate the shopping experience. For example, Harrolds will play host to a live DJ and complimentary flutes of Mumm champagne to help you get in the sparkling, spending mood. If you’re not in the mood for activewear, head over to Myer from 12-9pm. You'll be able to enjoy juice from 12-9pm and Mumm Champagne from 3-9pm. (American Express Card Members and one guest can receive one food item and one beverage from any included locations, and can score a gift with purpose at Myer). 

Other card member experiences on offer include complimentary drinks at Bassike and Swarovski in the Emporium.

Have your credit cards at the ready because between Friday 14^th October and Sunday 23^rd October card holders will be able to shop, scan and be in with the chance to win $10,000*. Vogue American Express Fashion’s Night Out: MFW Closing Runway

If you didn’t get enough of the action at VAEFNO on Friday 14th October, it all leads to a glamorous final MFW ’22 Runway, co-presented by Vogue x AMEX in celebration of VAEFNO, on Friday 16th October.

Join in on the celebration, set under the impressive grand dome at 333 Collins with a 7pm or 9pm session. With its granite columns, decorative arches and elaborate wrought iron features, the venue is the perfect backdrop to enjoy a showcase of looks from high-end Australian designers all known for their impeccable tailoring and timeless design. Fall in love with fashion all over again with new season looks by Aje, Alice McCall, Bianca Spender, Carla Zampatti, L’IDÉE, LEO LIN, MAARA Collective, Mariam Seddiq, Martin Grant (presented by Christine on Collins) and nevenka.

Bringing her sheer talent to the runway, the show also features a special performance from ARIA Award-winning artist and this year’s M/FW Ambassador, Thelma Plum - making this a closing event you don’t want to miss!
