With winter around the corner, it's country Victoria's time to shine. Leave the city (and your worries) behind for a cosy weekend amidst rolling hills and impossibly green landscapes that promise maximum relaxation and solitude.

They’re remote and beautiful, and have little to no mobile phone coverage – and some don’t have WiFi, either! Ah, the serenity...

Sound perfect? We thought so. We’ve rounded up the best tiny cabins in Victoria to book for your next country escape.

Cortes Cabin

This off-grid cabin nestled by the Ovens River on a 100-year old walnut grove is the ultimate secluded stay and one of the best tiny cabins in Victoria.

Cortes Cabin is the place to go to truly tune out. There's no WIFI or TV, the bed is cosy with the dreamiest riverside views, and the inviting outdoor bath and firepit beckon.

Use the purpose-built steps to meander down to the river's edge on a frosty winter morning rugged up to the nines, with a freshly brewed coffee in hand...and simply breathe in that serenity.

You can wander around the farm and over to another swimming spot (approximately 1km away), where you’ll find kayaks and a canoe for you to use come summertime.
