The Best Cafes in Prospect
He Said, She Said Prospect
You know the name, just not the postcode. Hyde Park’s beloved He Said, She Said has landed in Prospect. Think smashed avo, brekky bagels, pistachio French toast, and all the lunch hits — perfectly paired with your pick of coffee or cocktail. Plus, grab-and-go is now a thing, thanks to their canning machine. To celebrate the new digs, the first 100 coffees are on the house, plus free pastries and sweet treats all day. We’re betting this one will be just as crave-worthy as the original.

This family-run deli is all about Italian flavours and hearty rolls inspired by the way they do things in New Jersey, and it’s helping them stand out in the sando-strong scene of Adelaide.
Prospect locals are flocking to Fratelli for their fix, with the sandwiches so delicious even Joey Tribbiani would approve. Throw in a coffee, a creamy cafe crema, or a strawberry matcha and a sweet treat, and you’ve got yourself the perfect brunch combo.

Frankly Bagels
The humble bagel has come a long way since the basic cream cheese filling, and Frankly Bagels is at the top of the game. One of our favourite spots in Prospect for a quick and easy bite that always hits the spot (and fills your tummy), start by choosing your bagel – plain, poppy seed, sesame seed, or everything, then take your time to find your flavour combo, with nine choices covering sweet and savoury fillings and rotating specials making this decision particularly difficult.
Did we mention they also make great coffee and gluten-free bagels? No one misses out at Frankly Bagels!

Coffee and cake, anyone? Muratti is where a delectable assortment of cakes, tarts and croquembouches attracts sugar addicts from all over Adelaide. Gorgeous creations glisten invitingly from shiny glass displays, with rows of vibrant-hued petit gateaux in delicate flavours like berry apple and chocolate cherry.
With cakes that are almost too pretty to eat, Muratti showcases the best of European confectionery via fine layers of dacquoise, praline, mousse, sable breton and compote, garnished with everything from chocolate shards to whole macarons, all served best by the slice and with a warm cup of coffee, of course!

With a warm and inviting atmosphere thanks to a colourful fit-out and friendly staff, Bottega Bandito serves up a whole host of wholesome Italian dishes for a hearty brunch from 7:00 am, but it’s the sandos that have people lining up come 10.30 am. We highly recommend working through the whole sandwich menu to see what the fuss is about, starting with the pesto chicken with tomato nduja and crispy pancetta. All the usual suspects are on the drinks menu, including coffee, matcha, teas and cocktails from 10.30 am!

Anchovy Bandit
Anchovy Bandit opened its doors in 2018, and this once-small pizza and pasta bar has become bigger and better with every expansion. The space includes booth seating and a warm design, bringing a sense of nostalgia to the venue. It is the kind of place where family and friends will mingle for hours over a bottle of red or an expertly prepared cocktail. Named after a Quentin Tarantino screenplay (the restaurant does sit beneath a cinema after all), guests can dine on the chef’s selection or opt for small bites and larger meals from the a la carte menu. Either way, this is an Italian restaurant you won’t want to miss.

Li Beirut
Li Beirut believes Lebanon isn’t just a place — it’s a feeling, and Prospect will get a proper taste with the opening of the new Lebanese table built around flavour and fire. At the centre is the charcoal-grilled chicken, marinated in traditional spices, slow-cooked over open flame, and finished with a smoky richness that transports you straight to the streets of Beirut. Beyond the chicken, the menu celebrates Lebanese culinary heart: fresh, vibrant salads, creamy cold mezze, sizzling hot mezze, indulgent platters, wraps, Lebanese-style burgers, and mixed grills perfect for sharing. Every dish is crafted with premium South Australian ingredients and designed to pair beautifully with Lebanese-inspired cocktails, fresh juices, and handpicked wines and beers.
