While it is growing in popularity,  there still aren't that many cafés that sell matcha. So, we've rounded up all of our favourite spots that do the best matcha in Adelaide, so you don't have to go searching.

No one (arguably) does matcha better than Yuna Cafe & Restaurant. This Japanese inspired cafe is the perfect place to go for matcha and a sando, whether it be savoury or sweet. Take in the vibrant atmosphere as you enjoy the rich and earthy tastes of your freshly made matcha and catch up with friends or enjoy your own company.  We also recommend trying their premium hojicha for another delicious Japanese drink!

Locals flock here for what is arguably a perfect matcha latte, and once you try it for yourself, you'll understand why.

Grab yours to go (and maybe pick up a sando as well) and take a stroll down the beach. If it's a nice day, you could even enjoy it on the sand for a makeshift picnic. It sounds like a blissful morning!

A Place's matcha is hand whisked and made to order. They use a bright and fragrant matcha from Uji, Kyoto, which pairs perfectly with your milk of choice. If you've been meaning to enter your health and wellness era, but keep on procrastinating, this café will kick you right into shape. Order an acai bowl, toastie, granola or overnight oats alongside your matcha and enter heaven with first sip/bite. The matcha here is unique, too, as they sweeten it with natural coconut sugar. Divine!

L Law Hyde Park is a favourite amongst locals, and for good reason. Not only is their classic cafe and brunch fare extremely delicious, both of their hot and iced matcha is to die for, too. Their iced one is served in a tall glass with ice cream, so you can enjoy a smooth and creamy treat to start your morning off just right, or as a tasty pick-me-up in the afternoon.

And to make matters even better, they serve some of the most delicious matcha you'll find in the city. The Gator Club was originally a food truck called Later Gator, and they have now set up permanent residency in College Park. Pick up a plant-based cake alongside your morning or afternoon matcha and bask in the sun as the light filters through the windows and into the open space.

Sitchu Tip: They're also open late on Friday and Saturday, so make sure you come back later in the night to have a boogie and a bevvy.
