Snag & Brown

Not only does Snag & Brown serve up some seriously tasty brunch dishes and perfectly roasted Bear Bones coffee, but they’re also one of the best dog-friendly cafes in Brisbane. What sets this cafe apart is its off-leash dog park, which provides the perfect opportunity for your furbaby to blow off some steam while making some new friends. 

On the menu you’ll find brekkie classics like eggs benedict and avocado bruschetta, but also some pet-friendly puppicinos, too.

From the fiery ruins of the Taj Mahal restaurant on Brunswick Street emerges Kevin, a fresh new face on the Brisbane cafe scene. The Heritage-listed cottage has been given a brand new lease on life (and a glorious makeover). Enter the premises through a charming white picket fence that corrals an outdoor dining deck. Inside, you’ll find leafy green decor and warm natural hues.

Kevin’s food is as fresh as its facelift, with a garden-to-plate philosophy that sees vibrant produce and tasteful touches to each dish. Not only is Kevin a tasty new brekkie haunt, but it’s also one of Brisbane’s best dog-friendly cafes to get your weekend walkies off on the right foot.

Natura Cafe

This fresh-faced new cafe in Salisbury initially drew us in with its dreamy curved interior, Greek frappes and delicious smoothies, but when we heard they were also dog-friendly they had us hook, line and sinker!

Serving all day breakfast and Mediterranean style lunch, Natura Cafe is a great option to park your pup and sit down for a Stel coffee and a souvlaki any day of the week.

Barko & Co are dog friendly and proud of it.Touting their dog-loving nature from their Instagram account (which is full of adorable pooch pics, by the way), this gorgeous dog friendly cafe is located in Teneriffe. It's the perfect pit stop to rest your paws after a long walkies down the Riverwalk!

Barko & Co offers a menu bursting with fresh gluten-free and vegetarian options, along with a cheeky wine menu, making it perfect for spending slow weekends in the sunshine with friends.

Mary Mae’s is easily one of the best dog-friendly cafes in Brisbane, not only for its pawsome location right on the waterfront at New Farm, but its proximity to the Teneriffe Riverwalk and New Farm dog park, too!

You can plan the perfect day out with your pooch before heading to Mary Mae’s to cool off and enjoy a bite to eat. They’ve got freshly made dog treats and an on-site puppy paddle pool, so your dog is going to have a tail-wagging good time here.

This stunning alfresco-style restaurant situated atop the Kangaroo Point cliffs is one of our all-time favourites for breakfast with a view. Dishing up fresh plates of local produce reimagined into your new favourite dishes, your pooch will love visiting this dog-friendly cafe with you so that they can explore the sights and sounds of this city-fringe venue.

There are also ample walking opportunities along the cliff or across the Story Bridge if you both need to stretch your legs after breakfast.

There’s every chance you haven’t stumbled across Neighbourhood Coffee Roasters, as they’re tucked away into the industrial district of Albion. Between the workshops and garages, you’ll find the Albion Fine Trades mini-mall, with food and decor shops to wander through.

But if a dog-friendly breakfast is on your mind, head into this airy, roomy cafe for great service and even better coffee. There’s also off-street parking, so you can safely get your pooch in and out of the car.

The Green Edge

If anyone loves animals… it’s Brisbane’s favourite vegan cafe: The Green Edge! All animals are welcome to come along for meals at this cafe - we’ve spotted guinea pigs on laps, cats in prams and dogs of all shapes and sizes!

This dog-friendly cafe in Brisbane has plenty of outside tables and water bowls so your pooch will have plenty of room to comfortably join you on your outing.

Make sure your pet saves room for snacks, as the staff are likely to visit your table, bearing treats for your four-legged brunch date.

If the name hasn’t given it away, this south side cafe welcomes dog lovers and their pooches alike! At Little Black Pug, there’s a fresh and seasonal menu to enjoy, which highlights local produce whilst catering to the diverse palates of their customers and their dietaries.

Whilst the menu may seem small, it is 99% gluten-free, 60% vegetarian and 30% vegan, so there’s something for everyone! This dog-friendly cafe aims to operate in an environmentally friendly way, reducing waste, reusing and recycling wherever possible.

For that friendly neighbourhood coffee shop feel, you can’t go past Bean On Dean! With delicious coffee, cakes, sourdough toasties and a menu full of your carb-heavy brekkie faves, bring your doggo along to a relaxed weekend outing at this cosy cafe.

You might even spot the resident cafe pup, Wallace, if he’s spending the day lending a helping paw and serving puppachinos with his parents. As far as dog-friendly cafes in Brisbane go, this is one of the best.
