Handpicked Festival Is Celebrating 10 Years in the Vines With Its Biggest Lineup Yet
The boutique festival is bringing together a stellar roster of Australian artists alongside wine, gourmet eats, market stalls and the laid-back atmosphere that's made it a South Australian favourite.

Few festivals capture the magic of a South Australian summer quite like Handpicked. Set among the vines of Lake Breeze Wines in Langhorne Creek, the boutique event has spent the past decade perfecting a formula of live music, local wine and laid-back country charm. And, for its 10th anniversary, it’s pulling out all the stops.
The festival has officially unveiled its 2026 lineup, bringing together some of Australia’s most-loved artists for a day of music beneath open skies. Leading the bill are Missy Higgins, The Teskey Brothers, Guy Sebastian, The Living End, Kita Alexander and indie-rock favourites Old Mervs, with performances set to soundtrack a sun-soaked day in wine country.
It started as a small concert in the backyard of family-owned Lake Breeze Wines. A decade on, it’s one of South Australia’s favourite destination festivals, drawing thousands of visitors each year. Yet despite its growth, Handpicked has held onto the intimate feel that sets it apart from larger-scale events, trading sprawling crowds for a more relaxed experience centred around great music, exceptional wine and the simple pleasure of gathering outdoors.
Of course, the appeal extends well beyond the lineup. Festival-goers can wander through The Lane marketplace, discover local makers, settle into the whimsical surrounds of the Cocktail Forest, or spend the afternoon with a glass of Langhorne Creek wine in hand as artists take to the stage. For those looking to elevate the experience, Club Rosé returns with exclusive food, drinks and premium festival amenities.
Less a traditional music festival and more a vineyard escape with an exceptional soundtrack, it’s become a rite of passage for locals and a compelling reason for interstate visitors to plan a weekend in wine country.
With more than 65 per cent of tickets already sold, the anniversary edition is shaping up to be one of the festival’s biggest yet.
Handpicked Festival returns to Lake Breeze Wines, Langhorne Creek, on Saturday, November 14th, 2026. Tickets are on sale now.
