Fayt The Label Is Finally Coming to Adelaide

After a false start in 2024, influencer and entrepreneur Brittney Saunders is finally bringing Fayt The Label to South Australia. The opportunity came together in a matter of weeks, with the team moving quickly to launch the brand’s first-ever pop-up store in Adelaide’s East End this August.

Running for around three months, the space will feel more like a permanent Fayt boutique than a traditional pop-up, featuring a curated selection of the label’s best-selling pieces. Expect jeans, signature pants and the elevated everyday staples that have helped build Fayt’s loyal following. For opening weekend, shoppers will be able to book a complimentary shopping session, with all visits running via appointment to avoid the hours-long queues that often follow a new Fayt launch.

FAQs

Most Adelaide warehouse sales and opening events are walk-in, though some ticketed or high-demand sales may have queues, so arriving early is worth it for the best selection. Bring a card, since some events are cashless, and comfortable footwear if you’re planning to move between multiple venues in the one precinct. Store openings often include added extras like coffee, treats or small giveaways for early visitors. Checking specific opening times and any entry conditions beforehand helps avoid a wasted trip.

South Australia has attracted a wave of interstate and international brands opening their first local stores in recent years, spanning fashion, beauty, jewellery and homewares. This includes national fashion labels making their South Australian debut, luxury jewellers opening flagship boutiques, and Melbourne and Sydney-born homewares and lifestyle brands crossing the border for the first time. Burnside Village in particular has become a magnet for these first-time openings. It reflects growing confidence in Adelaide’s retail market and gives local shoppers access to brands previously only available interstate or online.

Warehouse sales can offer genuine savings, particularly from Adelaide-based labels selling past-season stock, samples and one-off pieces directly from their studios or head offices. Discounts commonly range from 20 to 80 percent off, and some sales include exclusive items not available in regular retail. The trade-off is that stock is often limited and sizing can be inconsistent, so arriving early matters. They’re best suited to shoppers who don’t mind digging through racks rather than those after a curated retail experience.

Adelaide sees a steady stream of new store openings and warehouse sales throughout the year, with activity often picking up ahead of key seasons and public holidays. Fashion and beauty brands frequently choose spring and the lead-up to Christmas for launches, while warehouse sales tend to run in autumn and spring as retailers clear seasonal stock. Many openings are also tied to a brand’s broader national expansion, with Adelaide often following after Sydney and Melbourne. Following a dedicated local guide is the easiest way to stay across what’s landing and when.

Adelaide’s retail openings cluster around a handful of key precincts. Burnside Village has become the city’s premium destination of choice, attracting first-time South Australian boutiques from brands like Tiffany & Co., Paspaley and CAMILLA AND MARC. The East End and Rundle Street draw fashion and lifestyle labels looking for a street-facing, foot-traffic-heavy setting, while Rundle Mall and Westfield Marion remain the go-to spots for larger format and mainstream retailers. North Adelaide and inner suburbs like Prospect are increasingly popular for smaller, independent openings, particularly vintage, homewares and boutique fashion stores.
