Adelaide Fringe Festival: Regional Highlights To See in 2025

Adelaide Fringe Festival is set to take over the CBD with fabulous fun this February and March, but did you know you can experience the magic of Fringe far beyond the city, too?

If you've popped into the CBD lately, you'll notice that Fringe is slowly (but surely) taking over the East End of Adelaide, with posters tacked up and parks transformed into the heaving festival hub. The fun of the biggest arts festival in the Southern Hemisphere officially kicks off on February 21st, and you'll have no trouble finding a thought-provoking show, immersive experience or comedy show that's guaranteed belly laughs. 

But, did you know the magic of Fringe can be found far beyond the city? From Clare Valley and Renmark to Barossa and beyond, these are the Adelaide Fringe Festival regional highlights you need to know about, celebrating South Australian venues and regions.

23rd Street Distillery Presents Renmark Croquet Club

Kick off your weekend at the 23rd Street Distillery every Friday, sipping on handcrafted cocktails and enjoying delicious wood-fired pizzas with live tunes setting the vibe. Embracing the spirit of the Adelaide Fringe Festival in Renmark, this is a laidback afternoon experience where you can try your hand at croquet, soak up sunset views and get acquainted with good old Riverland hospitality.

Looking for an evening of belly laughs? Grab a ticket for a night with much-loved Australian comedian Akmal Saleh and his roving show Red Flags. Making his way from Murray Bridge and Elizabeth to Victor Harbor and Port Noarlunga, Akmal will be bringing the laughs to SA as he tackles life's absurdities with his signature humour filled with sharp wit and hilarious insights. Outback Comedy

Outback Comedy is hitting the road less travelled for Adelaide Fringe, bringing some of the country’s best stand-up talent to regional towns. Comedians Brett Blake, Claire Hooper, Nicolette Minster and Zack Dyer will bring their standup to Mt Gambier, Robe, Naracoote and Strathalbyn, while Dane Simpson, Robyn Reynolds and Oliver Coleman will bring the laughs to Paralowie and Hakham! Expect hilarious stories, side-splitting laughs and pure Aussie comedy gold in the outback.

Queen Tribute Show by the Incredible Band

If you happen to be roaming about Clare Valley (perhaps trying out a new Reisling or two?) on March 23rd, stop in at the adored Rising Sun Hotel in Auburn for a fabulous afternoon out with The Incredibles Band.
