We’ve partnered with Strut & Fret to toast Blanc de Blanc Encore, one of Brisbane’s most celebrated and immersive live shows, now playing at The West End Electric with the season extended through February.

Brisbane’s nights are sparkling a little brighter as smash-hit cabaret circus Blanc de Blanc Encore continues its season at The West End Electric, delivering a heady mix of world-class circus, live music and decadent, adults-only entertainment. Now extended until Sunday, 8th February 2026, the show has firmly established itself as one of the city’s most indulgent nights out.

This is no ordinary theatre experience. Blanc de Blanc Encore unfolds inside the intimate spiegeltent setting of The West End Electric, where the action erupts everywhere at once. Acrobatics soar overhead, performers glide between tables and moments of comedy, seduction and surprise play out just metres from the audience. Vintage French glamour meets high-voltage physicality, creating a spectacle that feels immersive, playful and unapologetically lavish.

Produced by Australian live entertainment powerhouse Strut & Fret, the show represents the company at the height of its creative powers. Known for curating some of the country’s most celebrated adult circus and cabaret experiences, Strut & Fret also operate major cultural venues including Adelaide’s The Garden of Unearthly Delights, Brisbane’s West End Electric and Sydney’s Grand Electric. Internationally, they are also behind Sabrage, currently enjoying an extended, sell-out season in London’s West End.

Blanc de Blanc Encore arrives in Brisbane following a glittering global run. After a record-breaking world premiere at the Sydney Opera House, the show sold out seasons across Darwin, Hobart, Brisbane and Auckland, before returning to Sydney for a four-times-extended season. Its Brisbane continuation is less a stopover and more a sustained triumph.

The international cast is as intoxicating as the concept. Canadian circus artist Felix Pouliot, a graduate of the prestigious Circus School of Quebec, brings formidable Chinese pole skills paired with razor-sharp comic instincts honed with companies including Cirque du Soleil and Cirque Éloize. Australian dancer Melanie Hawkins steps into the spotlight fresh from starring roles in Jesus Christ Superstar, The Rocky Horror Show, Rock of Ages and Hugh Jackman’s Broadway to Oz tour.

Ukrainian performer and choreographer Mykhailo Makarovoak, a finalist on Ukraine’s Got Talent in 2022, delivers astonishing hip hop, popping and bone-breaking technique, recently showcased on one of the world’s biggest sporting stages in Paris. Completing the line-up is UK aerialist Danielle Summers, celebrated for her blend of elegance and raw power, with performances spanning contemporary circus companies and London’s most iconic cabaret venues.

Critics have hailed Blanc de Blanc Encore as “the top shelf of cabaret-burlesque-circus entertainment”, with audiences consistently left on the edge of their seats.
