The Cult Hotel That Shook Melbourne Is Coming to Perth
Big news: a next-level lifestyle stay is officially coming to Perth.
Perth’s hotel scene is about to get a fresh beat of creative energy, with HYDE Hotels—known globally for its immersive, culture-first DNA—confirming its first-ever purpose-built property will open on Pier Street in March 2026.
The opening follows this year’s impressive launch into Melbourne Place, where its art-led interiors and locally tuned vibe saw the hotel recognised as one of just two Aussie stays in Nat Geo’s Best New Openings of the Year. Its Perth outlet will follow that same award-winning formula.
Across 121 rooms and suites, HYDE Perth will blend expressive five-star design with local spirit and HYDE’s signature energy. Think curated soundtracks, local creatives shaping the cultural calendar, and communal spaces built for connection rather than formality. A sun-soaked pool deck and terrace will invite relaxed afternoons, while wellness studios and event spaces bring breathwork, movement, and the kind of social gatherings that feel organic (and genuinely welcomed).
At the heart of it all awaits FARRA, a Grecian-inspired dining concept that layers WA produce with a coastal European sensibility. Designed to flow from restaurant to poolside to terrace, it promises to become one of those all-day spots where you arrive for lunch and somehow stay for golden hour.
With textured, sun-washed interiors by Anthology Studio and sensory curation woven through every corner (think elevated lighting, custom scents and curated soundscapes), HYDE Perth feels less like another hotel and more like a new creative engine room for the city.
Reservations are already open—and for Dis-loyalty members, there are generous opening perks to sweeten the stay.
