We love a hot girl walk as much as anyone, but the new Melt Sauna might just be our new winter go-to. ‘Melt Sessions’ is a weekly event designed to bring people together while doing something genuinely good for the mind, body, and soul. Inspired by the rise of “coffee raves” and early-morning club culture, General Manager Lauren Grant says the initiative builds on Melt’s unique ‘hosvitality’ concept — a seamless blend of hospitality and wellness. 

The first Melt Session lands on Sunday, 15th June, delivering what everyone is craving this winter season: health, hospitality, and high vibes.

BOONJI Spaceman lands in Perth 

It’s official — Perth’s very own BOONJI Spaceman, Lightning, has landed. Unveiled just in time for internationally acclaimed contemporary artist Brendan Murphy’s first major Australian solo exhibition, the striking seven-metre sculpture now stands tall in Perth’s iconic Stirling Gardens. One of the city’s most significant public art installations, Lightning will remain in the tranquil oasis at the heart of the CBD for the next 12 months before relocating to its permanent home.

Murphy’s exhibition, Life is Electric, will run for eight weeks at the prestigious Gullotti Galleries in Cottesloe, opening on 23 May 2025.

The Hike Collective has launched an exclusive experience at Perth Zoo, where you can step into a sanctuary of calm before the zoo opens for the day to the public. The two-hour tour begins with a gentle walk through the rainforest, followed by a 45-minute beginner-friendly yoga session in the calming presence of the elephants. The journey then continues with a walk through the African savannah and Australian bushland, meeting some of the much-loved locals—from lions and meerkats to pandas, and koalas. The experience finishes with a refreshing cold-pressed juice as you soak in the wonders of the wild.

Kicking off once a month on a Sunday, the five-hour tour includes visits to three brewpubs, with tastings and lunch included. The breweries include FOUND.LAB in Byford, King Road Brewery in Oldbury, and The Brewship in Yangebup. The tour includes guided beer tasting sessions with beer experts, behind the scenes brewery tour, and a brewery lunch.
