Work in Content? This Epic Creative Festival Is Technically Deductible

An immersive one-day summit, bringing the country's brightest creative minds together.

Fujifilm

Fresh from a sell-out event in Sydney last year, this epic Creator Summit is back for round two. This time they’re coming to the creative heartland of Melbourne, transforming The Timber Yard into an immersive hub for one day only on Saturday, 9th May.

The festival will bring together some of Australia’s most exciting creators, photographers, storytellers and industry voices for a series of insightful talks, workshops and hands-on sessions.

And the line-up? It’s looking stacked, with the likes of viral podcasters Toni Lodge and Ryan Jon, The Daily Aus co-founders Zara Seidler and Sam Koslowski, Shameless Media’s Style-ish co-host Maddison Sullivan-Thorpe, lifestyle creator Tara Chandra, travel photographer Emilie Hill, and Pinterest ANZ Head of Content Partnerships Jace Molan, just to name a few. They’ll each be delivering untapped insights spanning culture, craft and career, with sessions for creators of every stage.

The day operates as a bit of a choose-your-own creative adventure type thing, with attendees free to move between different talks, workshops and interactive experiences as they like. Plus, your ticket also gets you access to the Partner Hub, where leading creative brands like ALPAKA, BenQ, Adobe, ATOMOS, RØDE, NiSi, Leofoto and Nanlite will host hands-on demos and workshops — perfect if you’re keen to explore new gear.

Presented by Fujifilm, you’ll also find their House Of Photography Pop-Up will be here too, offering exclusive deals, complimentary sensor cleans and a chance to check out their latest product releases. It also means the special goody bag (valued at over $250) included with your ticket will be very good.

Falling just before the end of financial year, it also serves as a nice little excuse for a tax-deductible work trip for anyone in the creative industry.

Ready to commit? Pick up your $45 early bird ticket before it sells out (again).
