Once Sydney’s industrial heartland, Zetland these days is an inner-city hub that offers top-notch shopping, dining, entertainment, and transport. This is where the beauty of the suburb – living in Zetland is a stone’s throw from the city centre, airport, and coastline. It’s so modern, shiny, and new that locals don’t really need to leave. Area Features

East Village

Taking pointers from New York’s Chelsea Market, East Village has supermarkets, health clubs, medical centres, restaurants and artisan stores all under one (very modern) roof. Locals don’t know how they ever lived without the marketplace – everything they need and want is at their fingertips, and there’s always something going on.

Joynton Park Market

Every Saturday, residents and their furry friends make their way to Joynton Park for the weekly markets. Along with fresh flowers and delicious food, there are stalls selling artworks, candles, soaps, jewellery, clothing, homewares and leather goods. The markets support local businesses, and live music adds to the ambience.
