Nigella Lawson is back in Sydney, and as always, the city’s dining scene is basking in her glow.

The beloved British food writer and television personality has been spotted savouring some of Sydney’s most iconic eateries, reaffirming her affection for the Harbour City’s vibrant culinary landscape.

Here’s a roundup of the Sydney spots Nigella Lawson has stopped by while Down Under.

Fratelli Paradiso, Potts Point

Nigella’s Sydney rituals commence at Fratelli Paradiso, a cherished Potts Point institution she deems her “first stop” upon arrival. She describes walking through its doors as “coming home,” and indulged in the famed Bombalaska — a dessert featuring hazelnut praline, pistachio semifreddo, lemon curd, all enveloped in flame-bronzed Italian meringue.

Sean’s Panorama, Bondi

Turns out one of Nigella’s simple pleasures includes a classic, hearty roast. Her go-to? Sean’s Panorama in Bondi.

“Roast chook at @seansbondi epitomises the perfect Sydney Sunday for me,” Nigella wrote in another Instagram post. “Much happiness provided too by the exquisite cruditées and fennel chowder with blue claw yabbies that came first, as well as just dreamy dessert of crostoli with pistachio cream, kumquat, quince and persimmon.”

Anything seasonal and seaside, and Nigella is a fan.

Icebergs Dining Room & Bar, Bondi

No visit to Sydney is complete without a meal at Icebergs, and while Nigella is yet to pay a visit this time around, she has previously hailed it as her “favourite restaurant in the whole world.”

Ester, Chippendale

Lat time she was Down Under, Nigella dined at Ester in Chippendale, one of her “Big Three” Sydney restaurants. She praised chef Mat Lindsay’s culinary prowess, particularly the “chicken fat oysters,” which she found “extraordinary.”
