We’ve partnered with Harbourfront Seafood Restaurant to share our summer menu and venue highlights from this fantastic eatery.

What's on your summer holiday wish list? Maybe it's finally taking time to read that brilliant book everyone has been raving about. Or perhaps you'll enjoy some well-deserved downtime and book a pamper session at your favourite day spa.

Or, if you're a die-hard foodie, you've probably curated a summer wish list of restaurants and summer dishes you're dying to try. It's perfect timing, then, that Harbourfront Seafood Restaurant has a fresh new summer menu to celebrate the sunny season.

Located in the historic sandstone of Campbell’s Cove in The Rocks and boasting jaw-dropping views of the city's sparkling harbour, Sydney Opera House and the Harbour Bridge, this is one of the most stunning restaurants in Sydney. But it's the divine dishes, crafted by Head Chef Saiful Islam, that rival the pinch-yourself location.

A Showstopping Summer Menu

With a new season comes a new offering of the best produce, and Harbourfront Seafood is committed to freshness and innovation. Inspired by summer's gastronomic landscape, their new seasonal menu showcases ingredients at their peak, all prepared with contemporary and dynamic culinary techniques. Steady yourselves and your stomach because you'll want to try it all

The comprehensive menu, expertly created by a team of talented chefs, will take you on the ultimate culinary journey. Kick things off with shucked Sydney Rock Oysters grilled with chives, dashi, kombu butter, and house-made Worcestershire sauce before working your way through the epic entrée options.

The Shark Bay scallop ceviche citrus with Davidson plum and finger lime is a punchy mix of fresh flavours that will dance in your mouth. The succulent scallops are marinated in citrus, creating a beautiful balance with the tangy Davidson plum. Bursts of finger lime bring an unexpected yet refreshing edge, making this a light, lovely option to start your meal.

The grilled Eastern King Prawns in sriracha butter with caramelised lemon are another must-try. The spicy notes from the butter underscore the tender sweetness of the grilled prawns, while the caramelised lemon adds a smokey vibe. The result? A unique tapestry of spicy, sweet, and tangy flavours.

When it comes to the main event, we're eyeing the char-grilled veal cutlet, which is teamed with freshly grated horseradish, caramelised lemon, and a touch of extra virgin olive oil. Embracing the beauty of simplicity, the veal cutlet is expertly grilled to tender perfection and elevated by the lively kick of freshly grated horseradish. Caramelised lemon brings a sweet acidity, while a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil imparts a silky finish, letting the flavours and quality of the ingredients shine.

The Capellini Pasta is also high on our must-try list. Served with tiger prawns and blue swimmer crab in a decadent sauce of tomato, chilli, garlic, and white wine, a dusting of bottarga adds some savoury depth. A harmonious marriage of bold seafood flavours and textures that perfectly complement the delicate capellini pasta, it's best enjoyed with one of Harbourfront Seafood's signature cocktails.

Light Platters Perfect for Sharing

Alternatively, you can order the cold and raw seafood platter for two ($220). It's ideal for those hot summer days when you feel like sharing something fresh and light.

With a slew of standouts to work your way through, including steamed storm clams with herb vinaigrette, whole Moreton Bay bugs, citrus crème fraiche with chilled black tiger prawns, and smoked barramundi and ocean trout rillettes, crème fraiche and baby gem, you will not be disappointed.

Of course, don't forget to save room for dessert because this is a grand finale you don't want to miss.

From the housemade tiramisu to the chocolate mousse with acai jam, hazelnut crunch, dark chocolate berries and whipped coconut cream, and the warm apple and frangipane tart with caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream, this is the dessert menu of our dreams.
