Brosa Furniture's design team breathe new life into an inner city Sydney apartment (and you can stay there!)

We have a crush. We are head over heels in love with Australian-born design firm Brosa and their luxe modern furniture, which is the epitome of contemporary chic, Scandi-cool but with Australian sensibilities, Brosa furniture manages to feel fun whilst being undeniably grown up.

So, when we heard Brosa was redesigning two luxury spaces in Darlinghurst – a cosy one-bedroom pad and a lush three-bedroom sky loft – we were all in. These spaces are both available for short stay rentals which means even those of us who can’t quite afford our dream furniture or our dream inner city apartment with harbour views (read: all of us) can spend a little time living in the lap of luxury.

So, if you’re interested in finding out how the Brosa Styling Team transformed this space or how to book this epic stay for yourself, check out our venue crush.

Brosa Sky Loft: The Space

Even when stripped down to the bare bones, Sky Loft is a truly exceptional space. Set high above the city skyline, this three-bedroom space complete with multiple balconies that look out over Darlinghurst, towards the city skyline and over to the glittering harbour, the iconic bridge and catch the light glinting off the sails of the Opera House.

The loft features three-oversized bedrooms, two with ensuite bathrooms. A marble kitchen with two ovens and a breakfast bar and dark wood paneling invite people to embrace their inner chef. As well as an open plan living area, Sky Loft also boasts both formal and al fresco dining spaces.

Brosa Sky Loft: The Re-Design

The BROSA Styling Team created the curated space, creating a luxury loft makeover with some of Brosa’s best loved pieces.

Starting with the living room, the statement Seta Couch with premium cream tweed is topped with lush tonal throws and woollen blankets. Two dark wood Coltrane Coffee Tables link the space to a trendy bouclé Ada Swivel Accent Chair. The Leo Arc Floor Lamp with brass interior compliments the statement pieces as do pops of forest green which are echoed with well-cared for house plants (the millennial plant mama dream).

Sumptuous furniture with ‘curve appeal’ is one of our favourite 2022 trends and it’s fully embraced in the pieces used in Sky Loft including the Kubrick and Ada Swivel Accent Chairs and the chic Imogen Armchair in the perfect shade of millennial pink.

Beds are kept simple with dark, textural headboards and matching bed frames which allows the art and the beautiful linen bedding (also art in our books) to be standouts in the space.

Brosa Sky Loft: Little Luxuries

Expect Aesop toiletries, linen bathrobes and deliciously soft sheets from I Love Linen and a top-of-the-line Sonos sound system. After all, you’re an inner-east local now!

Brosa Sky Loft: The Neighbourhood

If you can tear yourself away from the luxury of Sky Loft, there’s no end of glorious spaces and places to explore in Darlinghurst. Sky Loft is situated at the intersection of the CBD, Potts Point, Darlinghurst and Rushcutters Bay. If you’re in the mood for high-end dining check out our favourite restaurants in Potts Point or A Tavola or the delightful and delectable Buffalo Dining Club.
